It’s the best one for sure. Oni3 was the direct sequel to it but it was too Hollywood. But damn was that opening cutscene fucking awesome.

I still need to find that Enterbay 1/6 Samanosuke figure. It's no secret that Onimusha is a niche series, so it's a miracle there's even an official figure.
I've on an off tried to buy one but they're too high priced.

Capcom did say they want to pursue old titles and there hasn't been a Dino game that I can think of that was even remotely close to what Dino Crisis was. It's Resident Evil... with Dinosaurs... you cannot put it any more simpler than that, and it works. Even though DC2 was more of a straight forward action shooter, I still liked it. Although killed the Rex by a Giga makes me sadI liked that the Rex had one eye after taking an RPG.
Yup. In reality a Giga was just a bit bigger than Rex and would never be able to put him in its mouth like that. But I understand it's just a game and they have to job Rex to get over the next big bad. But I was salty as fuck about them doing my boy like that.
Never played DC3 apart from a demo but the opening was amazing. It got lukewarm reviews though.
As for the Onimusha games, I only rented the three games on PS2 (and 1 on Xbox iirc) but never got to finish them. I might get Warlords on PS4 soon and hope they remaster the other two because at the time, 2 and 3 had some incredible graphics.
Capcom gave us highly demanded games in Re2make and DMC5 this year (which I both loved) - how delicious it will be if they give us a remakes of Dino Crisis and Onimusha next year as well.
It's a shame Konami don't have the same attitude when it comes to giving fans what they want. I don't know if people want another Metal Gear after the last debacle but Silent Hill could do with a makeover.

They’d just fuck up Metal Gear. Hate to say it, but without Kojima, that franchise is like a headless chicken.

Konami didn't ruin MGS, Kojima did with when thought he could continue the series without Fukushima.

Personally, the only games I enjoyed post MGS3 were Acid, Acid2, Portable Ops and Rising- coincidentally none were made by Kojima.
MGS4, Peace Walker and V were all bogged down by over ambition and bloated canon. I hate to say it, but MGS fans from 1998-2004 were a different bunch of nerds than this newer wave that came after Peace Walker. Nowadays Kojima craps out shit and fans automatically summon the word "genius" in his defense. Art without constructive criticism isn't art.

I already detested the common Kojima fan prior to his firing, and when the Konami thing happened it just came became the #fuckkonami hive mind. I truly hope Death Stranding is another dud. Been in developed for years now and there's literally no one shred of a synopsis given. Sony will learn what Konami had to put up with. The guy cannot write, at all, without a skilled co-writer.

Yeah, it's been years and still Death Stranding doesn't have that pitch, the proof of concept. I can't believe how gullible fans can get.
No one want's to drop $60 on a convoluted walking simulator.
I doubt I'll buy PS5 at launch. The launch titles for PS3 and PS4 I remember weren't anything I was interested in.
I'm glad I didn't buy a PS4 Pro like I planned to a few months back. It's going to be backward compatible with PS4 apparently. I guess it makes sense since it will be using Blu Rays as well. I wanted a Pro for specifically REmake 2 since the first PS4 model is so fucking loud when you're running it.
I’ll get a PS5 eventually, but I’m not in any rush for it.
If it's going to be $500, fuck that. PS4 was $400.
I’ll probably wait until they drop the price and work out the bugs. Seems like there’s always something wrong with the first editions anyway.
That's my line of thought. I didn't get PS3 at launch but I still had to pay $600 since they didn't skim the price for awhile. There needs to be something really substantial for me to consider getting it at launch.

I traded my old model with some games and got the pro for like £135 back in 2016. It has its advantages but some games make it run and sound like a fucking jet engine.
But I haven't yet stepped into the 4K realm to get the most out of it due to budget. The upscale feature for those still with 1080p TVs is nice though.
I'm not really interested in 4K. I got a 1080p TV and most games I have never even use the 1080.
