I did see that one but it looks godawful. Terrible fitting of the clothing, the body is not right for her look, and the face is terrible too.

The ones posted above really capture the essence of their character whereas TBL's attempt at Mai looks like some 3rd party offering

I think it looks decent. Then again, nothing will EVER beat the Max Factory 1/6 Mai from years ago. Period.

Looks like they want to make a Nier Automata knock off (which if done well I would welcome), but it’s notable for the introduction of something completely new to games: butt jiggle physics.

I saw that the other day. Butt jiggle physics aren’t new though. They’ve been in mmos since at least Black Desert or earlier. I like that it has that Nier vibe.

Oh wait, didn’t you hear? Kotaku was sold off, along with all the other companies conjoined with it. Layoffs are imminent. Polygon needs to be next.

Black desert always appealed to the graphics whore in me, but didn’t appeal to the grindy mmo hater, so I never played it. Have you? Was it any good?

I played it on pc for the first four or five months it was out. I just got tired of turning on my pc and isolating myself from my Xbox friends. Plus, I need it for work now and then and don’t want it getting viruses.

I did buy the game on the Xbox last month though. It’s fun. I don’t play it hardcore, so the grind honestly doesn’t bother me.

Perhaps I’ll give it a shot when it’s on sale again then (yeah I know it’s cheap to begin with but I’ve seen it 50% off many times)

The thing putting me off was everyone talking about the insane grind and how you can’t get any good items without paying - and that the pvp was very unbalanced because of that.

I like pvp as long as it’s objective based. If it’s world pvp with ganking or battleground pvp where it’s basically just s death match I’m out.

It was the same for shooters to be honest. In halo all I would play were the modes like onslaught, ctf, and whatever the other names were for the objective modes. Same with gears (though I made an exception for execution as you had to get in their face to end them) or overwatch

Team based play is always more fun, a deathmatch always just becomes everyone doing their own thing.

Edit: what about in dark souls? I enjoyed that as well, tho I never raided anyone else’s world, it was always them coming at me

I didn’t mind the pvp in Dark Souls 3. It felt a bit more balanced. I think it was horrendous in Dark Souls 1. Dark Souls 2 was better, but I still think they fixed most things with the third game.

Yeah DS1 was completely unbalanced. I enjoyed it most in DS3 as well.

I know people like to hate on ds3 but I actually thought it was quite good, though the world wasn’t as good as demons souls/ dark souls.

There’s been rumours of a demon’s souls remaster going on for awhile now, I really wouldn’t mind that.

I’d get that for sure. It is pretty dated. I hope they actually revamp a lot of the stuff in the game. The characters looked horrendous in their earlier games.

As an exclusive? I’ll still get it on the Xbox One either way... because that’s the only way I can get games for it.

Also, I don’t mind IGN most of the time. Kotaku and Polygon are fucking atrocious dogshit sites.

Capcom did say they want to pursue old titles and there hasn't been a Dino game that I can think of that was even remotely close to what Dino Crisis was. It's Resident Evil... with Dinosaurs... you cannot put it any more simpler than that, and it works. Even though DC2 was more of a straight forward action shooter, I still liked it. Although killed the Rex by a Giga makes me sad I liked that the Rex had one eye after taking an RPG.
