Multiplayer games were interesting when they weren’t the norm. And when they weren’t oversaturated garbage. I rarely find any of them fun or entertaining. And usually the ones I do end up getting shelved when I become exceedingly good at them.

I don’t have the time to dedicate to multiplayer games anymore. I’m not going to have all the maps memorized and all that shit to be able to play with the people that are playing 24/7. I just want to play a game at my own pace and jump on and off when I have a chance.

PS2 era multiplayer was the best I think. Resident Evil Outbreak and the SOCOM games were a blast.

Battlefront’s new mode finally dropped:


It honestly looks like fun, but there’s one giant caveat: it’s only available on one map so far. I can see why as the map clearly needs to be reworked as well as new assets added. But I think I’ll be waiting for at least a couple more to be released before I consider reinstalling.

Glad it’s coming along though, this is the mode I’d prefer playing over galactic assault (since on half the maps the beginning is 30min of walkers moving toward whatever base)
