Troll your own fanbase...
They're trolling comic book readers, because comic book readers hate modern superhero comics.
And because they make money off of casual moviegoing audience who watches ém for laughs.

MCU was done after Endgame. This net phase is all laughs. I guarantee they will stat pad their movies to make them look more popular than ever.

I guarantee that iron man will be back on flashbacks or dream sequences after their new movies flop.
Look at spiderman..... the entire plot involves iron man........ not ONE movie after end game and they already milked that

I don't mind it. Just wish it was an adaptation of Thor comic books and not a spin-off of GotG two times in a fuckin row.

I liked it for Guns n Roses music, that was it. Are they going to explain how Thor lost the depression weight? lol.
I'm not a Thor fan and I don't think most people are at this point, but he's the only OG Avenger still doing shit.

Thor was my favorite MCU character, mostly because of how much character development he actually had.

Less than none. At least when compared to comics.

But seriously? Even Quill got more character development than Thor.
In fact, he got heavily dumbed down and pretty much has no character of his own.

Thor had good development but the problem was they always tried to reduce him to a bad joke. Endgame's endless 'lol fat god' jokes died so fast. It was a good idea to have a more light hearted MCU trilogy but they went so far....indeed dumbed down.
Quill was pretty good until Infinity War, and I'm not just talking about how he (in)famously fucked up the Thanos fight on Titan. He got reduced to a joke at times such as trying too hard to be the GoTG leader when Thor was found. Quill in Guardians 2 was almost compelling I'd say, think a lot of people could relate to his longing to know his family and heritage. Also Kurt Russel makes things good.

I didn’t feel he was reduced to bad jokes until Endgame. I wasn’t exactly happy about it, but it’s whatever at this point. Tony Stark and Thor had the most character development in the entire MCU. I personally do not think Quill holds as much of a candle to them. It’s like comparing Krillin to Vegeta.

The bad jokes became way too noticeable and frequent over time imo, namely due to his cast. Kat Dennings? The first movie's jokes were pretty good imo, he's a fish out of water so his stupid moments made sense and were funny.
Quill is such wasted potential but I don't care much for him either. Rocket, Yondu (whose death is kind of overrated imo) and Gamora were way more interesting.

I didn’t even like Thor before the MCU came along. Iron Man either, to be honest. I was always more of a Cap guy.

That's MAJORITY of their fan bases now. In my case, I saw some Spider-Man and Iron Man team ups in comics so I thought 'wow, that is so cool'. Thor didn't hold a candle to Wonder Woman in my eyes (I don't even know when I discovered Thor) and Captain America I found amusing outside of his appearance in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon.

Never really cared for the tin suit and “can’t believe it’s not butter” man. I was always more into Batman and Superman as a kid. I did like Cap and some other Marvel heroes, but it was mostly the X-men and Spider-Man.

I actually think Ragnarok being more hilarious, memey and just crazy made it a better watch then the previous Thor films. Thor was always weird about humor but tried to be grand, and it never really worked hence the lower scores and less fans. It felt like Ragnarok struck an identity finally though I did expect a different film with the caption Ragnarok. The Dark World is such a generic ass title however LOL.

My only concern is Love and Thunder is going to have some pandering, no doubt in my mind it will. But maybe it'll surprise me.
