So I just went on RT and it looks like there may be a bot account of me with a more positive review. They trying to hide my bad one lol.

That’s pretty pathetic. Disney... just take the lashing.

RT's had the scores frozen for Rise of Skywalker all weekend. They've accumulated almost 40k votes but between the initial report of 6k voters and now the Audience and Critic scores have been 56% and 86%. The score hasn't drifted around even slightly. Sh-t is rigged.

What is the point of these review sites when all the negative reviews get tossed. Metacritic did the same thing with nuking nearly seven thousand bad reviews for a video game.

It’s all about selling products. The people who produce the shit throw a hissy fit that there are “trolls” review bombing their goods and it’s going to hurt their bottomline. So, they step in to “correct the problem.”

In reality, it’s actually drawing more attention to it than it should, which risks even more people avoiding the product. Stop being stupid, people. Take the criticism and move on. You fucking nazi assholes.

I saw this a second time last night. I actually liked it a good bit more.

I decided to watch it with a “who cares if it connects” attitude and I found more enjoyment that way.

The Emperor is still awesome.

So, is it worth watching in theaters? I’m obviously still buying it, as a Star Wars fan, but part of me feels like breaking the tradition of seeing every main Star Wars film in theaters since Phantom Menace. I skipped Solo in favor of saving money for the blu ray.

There are now a couple dozen videos on youtube where people are calling out RT's bullsh|t score (which is 55% and 86% at 47,279 votes)

One thing that cannot be as easily spun is the Box Office Mojo sales numbers. The Force Awakens VS. Rise of Skywalker 4 day totals:

$82m behind TFA. Nearly 30% difference and this one is being marketed as the "last one" (and I have a bridge to sell you). 2nd weekend drop is going to be brutal because the family Christmas conversations are going to include "I saw the new Star Wars and it sucked".

Somewhere tonight the team behind Cats is wondering "how are we losing our a$$ to that piece of sh|t?"

They must've sent out a new version of the film. I re-watched it and there's the scene where Rey stabs/heals Kylo. "I wanted to take your hand. Ben's hand." She steals his ride. Kylo contemplates Get The Girl vs. The Dark Side. Han Solo appears. "I'm not sure I'm strong enough" "Son, pussy is awesome." Kylo throws his lightsaber. Epstein didn't kill himself.
