Saw this tonight with some family. It was meh. I actually came out of the theater having been entertained by TLJ. This one just had so many issues, mostly caused by the aforementioned film, that it couldn’t possibly satisfy.

What a fucking waste of characters and talent this movie was. The only thing I enjoyed about it was Daisy. I could look at her in anything. Thank god she was in a decent damn film recently. And she had red hair!

Which is pretty sad. Rian spit on this franchise so badly that the soap they used to clean it up only made it that much worse.

They should've taken a larger jump forward in time so they could reset the table. Leia could die between films this way; every scene with Leia was so disjointed to shoehorn old footage of Carrie. There were so many bad ideas in this film.

I've read that Bob Iger actually stepped into the edit process and created a cut of the film.

The only thing I haven't seen yet is Andor. People say it's actually good but I just couldn't be less interester in that perion or the character (absolutely hated Rogue One).
