So first Kenobi has his moment take from him by Maul showing up in Solo. Now Vader's redemption is tainted by Palpatine showing up in the new one.

Cram all the 'beats' and 'remember this" as much as possible.

And terrible sub title.

No interest in seeing this.

Though it was nice seeing Lando and Chewy in the Falcon. I hope it blows up with them both in it so they are no longer used in future movies.

As to Palps - they’re not happy until they drag everyone from the OT through the mud in this trilogy, even those presumed dead.

But at the same time I can see why - Kylo is such a weak villain who’s already been beaten twice by someone who only knew of the force for a couple of weeks, that there’s no way he could be the big bad.

Yeah, I honestly don’t like hearing Palpatine could be coming back. And I’m not sure why the title implies that Luke comes back as well? What the hell is this?

"No one really dies" The only thing they have going for is that this has been established long ago. Could be that any of the original Skywalkers comes back, or Kylo redeems himself (very unlikely since he's a white male) OR Rey is a Skywalker.

OR, OOOOR, Rey trains a new generation of Jedi and calls them Skywalkers because she thinks it's cute.

How many fucking times do they plan to retread old ground and repurpose old shit? Apparently there's no number since the """""fans""""" will continue to contribute to the multi billion dollar Mehpire.

Dark Empire yep, based off George's original Sequel Trilogy. George was going to bring Palps back as a Clone and have Luke fall (only to learn more about the dark side and his father).

The battle was on a Coruscant (war torn 9/11 ish debri with Regional Imperial Governors fighting for control of remnants of Empire while the newly formated Republic after ROTJ played Viet-Cong Guerilla tactics on both sides of Imperial factions.

Eventually as the Emperor let himself be known again to his forces. (his secret force who had his cloning lab hid in outer rim) Did he completely start to annihilate all who opposed him with Decimatir Class Destroyers. To fill the gap of Imperial pilots Palpatine had Tie Droid Fighters take on Republic X-Wings

It's a great story Dark Horse did.

I have the graphic novel, way back in early 90's they were a run of big print comics. Like 20 x 15 inch comics. I own some of those too. Dark Empire actually has 2 sections part 1 and 2. I need to find 2.

Seriously, how do you write the second film in a trilogy before even finishing and seeing the first one? And there will still be stans defending it as if that film had no problems and was because Russian bots!
