What’s up dude! Yeah, the market is taking quite a hit too. Some big toy stores are having to close. People gotta make better decisions and this includes the toy stores. Stop being braindead and ordering so many figures that don’t sell.

Honestly, if I were BBTS, I’d stop dealing in the anime pvc market. Not only do they take up way too much space, but they order too many and are just far too expensive for the average collector to justify. There’s a pretty clear market for Hot Toys figures and even those preorders don’t sell out anymore.

I try to stick mostly to collecting Star Wars and Dragon Ball. For Marvel, it’s mostly Marvel Legends and some Figuarts here and there. DC figures are kind of dropping off for me. I only really get the 1/6 scale stuff and even then it’s just Hot Toys Dark Knight Trilogy stuff—and the new InArt Joker. Everything else I collect is so few and far between it’s not even worth mentioning—outside of Resident Evil, which I’m done with after Claire and Ada are finally released.

It’s all become dull and boring though. I go through phases were I’m excited about certain figures, I suppose. Right now, I’m really impressed by a lot of the 1/6 stuff coming out, but just limited in what I can and will buy. I ran out of space years ago. So, everything I get now just sits in a storage closet until I can get a proper collection room going. A very big one.

Got Leon sorted with his gear. I almost like this one more than the full remake version. Only issue is that his head isn't stable inside the neck plug and it comes off easily. I might put a drop of glue on it on the weekend to keep it in there.

Just go with OSK. He gets everything first and you get it in under two weeks. Sometimes less than a week. He's also doing raffles with reward points since mine came with a scratch off card and you can win up to $500 in reward points. I didn't win but it's worth a dollar regardless.

I forgot that Leon has those spray fart moles on his face. I thought mine had defects. I had to adjust his vest so I took it off. Luckily it's attached by Velcro. Just be gentile as you slowly push the fabric away from the shell.

Toys Wonderland is kind of meh. I’m not going to jump down their throats like a lot of people are, but they could definitely improve. There’s almost no reason not to use someone else though. OneSixthKit and Giantoy are the best so far. KGHobby is decent, as long as you’re not in Russia.

I actually found similar complaints from people in other countries since then. And cases of people gettin wrong items piled up over the years, so... Even if they didn't withhold a figure I've fully prepaid for (including shipping) I wouldn't deal with them again anyway. Having to send wrong item back while waiting for mine again, still not being sure if it's gonna be the right one this time, is almost as bad.

Speaking of BBTS, they BSed me and others around on a Kotobukiya Pokemon trainer I wanted and then told us 'nah we weren't getting it in' after a year. Baffling and then someone told me apparently they got a few in...and sold them without telling US. I don't even know what to say to that.

It really is freeing when you can just stop bothering with a lot of this stuff. I’m just collecting for the sake of completing particular displays at this point. I don’t see myself not buying Star Wars and Dragon Ball stuff, but the rest is growing fewer and further apart by the day.

It depends for me and how much I love it. I don't get villains these days mostly since I KNOW not every villain will be made or specific versions of a villain I like outside of MCU and DC content. With Pokemon, I'll get a lot of it since I love the franchise and also feel like I'll regret not and everything they do ranges from cheap to understandable by today's standards. By comparison, this isn't really the case for me and the MCU. I would, at most, want the original Avengers line up plus Spider-Man.

I don’t even have the original Avengers lineup in 1/6 scale. I got my favorite versions of the characters at the time and that never changed. Not even after Endgame.

I have the Avengers 1 Hulk, Diecast Iron Man mk3, Stealth Suit Cap, Dark World armored Thor, Winter Soldier Widow and Civil War Hawkeye.

This figure is pretty nice. I like the slight weathering on the uniform. The headsculpt is slightly different to the original but I can’t tell what it is

DAMtoys still doesn’t know how to make magazines that stay inside the pistol. They still fall out which is annoying
