I don't mind Salazar looking bad but Luis is a fucking massacre...

I wonder when we'll see the new Wesker and anything on Separate Ways? I am concerned about it now after the B Scenario in RE2R, and the alternate paths in RE3R.

I don't mind Salazar being different but it's a little too much. Luis looks like he sleeps under a freeway and spends all his time tweaking.

That Wesker art that D. Coomer Douglas shared was very mediocre and had his arm damaged from CV for whatever reason. His face is also stupid, so I assume they got another ugly face model to scan like always.

I bought REmake and Zero on Steam for $10 for the sale. I plan on messing around with mods this weekend as there's ones to fix the busted music, clean up the backgrounds and fix the character models. Specifically color correct Jill's outfit to be blue instead of grey.

Since it was brought up in the Silent Hill thread about a CV remake. I always go back to what is the worst of the original series.

I've always been two minds about the 90s era (RE1-Zero) and go back and forth between Zero and CV on what I think is the worst game from back then. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Character designs
REmake level art direction
Fixed camera
Proto Tyrant is awesome and better than T-002
Some really good music tracks
Understanding one of the creators of Umbrella and the creator of the T-Virus
Some nice new game plus weapons
Leech Hunter is fun
Alternate outfits
Seeing Wesker and Birkin as friends
Richard Waugh back as Wesker

Cons

No item box
Weapons shouldn't take up two slots
Marcus looks like Sephiroth
Retcons the lab leak in the Mansion
Enemy designs are awful
All the boss fights are awful
Many plots holes of where characters and locations are (magic elevator/ Enrico gets to the RE2 lab somehow)
Poorly programmed enemies that seem to never take hit stuns outside of zombies
Weapon selection is boring
The T-Virus came from leeches? WHY

Stupid magnum side quest that most people miss in the first playthrough (I did)
Lousy Mercs level game mode
No alternate outfits
Albinoid is the worst "boss" of the old series that you don't even need to fight after all the build up to it

Probably not. I forgot Wesker's is buttoned up in RE4.

Also guys, not sure if you’ve seen that they’re making a Wesker Tsum Tsum but it comes with a low detail but still highly accurate Samurai Edge attached to his “hip”. And this may be a stretch, but anyone else think that this is a new outfit for Wesker? Yes it’s a suit, but that belt and white lining on the back seems different than the OG RE4 suit

Even from the front, his hair style seems a bit different? If the highlights are anything to go off of again, it may be a stretch because it’s essentially a chibi plush toy, but I found it interesting nonetheless
