A lot of their recent head kits are fantastic. The SSJ Goku and Vegeta set especially! All of the Vegeta sets are good. I really hope they make that full Majin Vegeta figure.
I skipped out on this set though. I already have every conceivable version of Vegito possible. The original Figuarts, the SSJ Blue Convention Exclusive, the Demoniacal Fit figure (which I have fitted with the brown hair) and then the PBandai Exclusive Vegito.
If I didn’t have the original release from all those years ago, I’d have definitely grabbed this. The brown hair version is probably the best option available to us, for that look, at present.

Both these heads on the new body effectively replace the originals. I'm still so surprised how much I like them.

Yeah, but I only have the one. Wasn’t ever really a need to get two of the new Vegito, with already having so many. I’m okay with the 1.0 bodies and the flat-faced DF Vegito. No way I’m paying double the price for another Vegito.
To be honest, they need to do second runs of these PBandai figures, with how stupid high the secondary market prices are. We thought the SDCC prices were bad a few years ago? Ha!

It will. I don’t have faith that I’ll be able to get any of the exclusive this year. I barely got what I got last year.
Missed out on John Connor. If I can’t get it, fuck it. Not paying $100+ for a Neca figure. I only got the two Omen Gokus and the Androids because their shit DID fuck up. It fucked up so badly it created a shitstorm on social media and they let us get in on “made-to-order” pre-orders for like a week. Or was it only a few days?
I don’t think I got any of the Hasbro exclusives either, outside of the Hellfire Club set, which just finally shipped. Although, I could be wrong. It’s been a while and I have more Hasbro figures than anything else I’ll ever own my entire life.

The original Figuarts Vegito was always a strange release to me. Both of his hair sculpts were totally different from the other saiyans (even the hybrids) and seemingly lacked detail in places they shouldn't have. His faces didn't really fit either because Vegito was so cocky but you knew he was justified in it, and the figure's faces lacked that. Conversely, besides the Goku/Vegeta mold combination, his accessories were pretty good and his price was fair.
Now the demonical fit Vegito? Wow, that's amazing lol I'd say damn perfect. Bandai should hire them but Toei would probably flip their shit. I do wonder why Vegito merch is somewhat lacking though, Gogeta too.

No way! Dude we’ve been asking for this for a while now. Here’s hoping it pushes Tamashii to make Vegeta and Goku from their ki clash.
The problem is they tease a lot that never comes out.

Neca doesn’t. I can recall very little that they’ve teased and/or shown that didn’t eventually see the light of day.
We are STILL waiting on that Figuarts Infinity War Groot. He’s the only one left. Doesn’t give much hope for Drax. Those are all I need for that line and then I’m done.

They did it with DMC 1 Dante for years actually. He was shown off before DMC 4 came out. He only came out after the reboot's remaster lol fact of the matter was everyone thought it was never going to happen. They're better then other companies though. I think the only issue they get is licensing since they had to work around things like a regular color variant of 1989 Batman, and a God of War III Kratos that they couldn't release when the game was being developed. It did get a bootleg based on the mold before the 2018 game's release when they finally did make a true God of War III Kratos.
I wonder what Figuarts will do with the Marvel license at this point? They're doing some PS4 Spider-Man stuff and John Walker.

SSJ4 Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta and maybe Super Baby 2 and Omega are the only characters worth a damn from GT. I'm stretching it a bit, but I don't have much desire to get ANY GT related merchandise. I do think some of the SSJ4 merch is really great looking but I can't stand GT, and I especially can't stand its dumb as hell nostalgia blind fans.
I want Super 17.
