I would probably only get Gogeta and Omega Shenron. And that’s a big maybe. I tried watching GT again some time ago and I didn’t make it past the first episode. It’s just boring. The designs are cool, I guess, but I have no attachment to that iteration of Dragon Ball. They definitely need to make the figures though. Tons of fans out there have been clamoring for the shit. And it will give me a break. So, I’m all for it.

I had some attachment but there is so much wrong with GT. It doesn't just undo a lot of what made DB/Z work and stand out, it misunderstands so much. It also doesn't really make much sense at all, even with all the dumbass fan attempts at justification. Everyone says DBS Goku is too dumb to live and well, he always was and that's the point. He was always totally stupid even in Z. GT is worse because there's literally no benefit to Goku not wishing to be an adult again as it's pointed out over and over that him staying a child is hindering his own power - which is also part of Saiyan biology, a need for power. Plus the idea to make Goku a kid again was to bring in the original DB appeal (though Kid Goku was not the only thing that DB what it was, and even then, THIS Kid Goku is clearly not the same adorable dumbass) clearly failed and they ostracized the overseas audience.

I actually think DBS is pretty damn decent stuff, outside of the artwork for the first few seasons. Now, that was atrocious.

DBS is really good and doesn't deserve the hate, but I will say it still does some wrong like the first two sagas being re-tellings of the films, power level scaling, and JIREN period. At the very least, DBS was clearly doing its own thing and remedied some criticisms the series had accumulated over the years. GT was so blatantly cashing in on DB's success, had no direction and was only good when SSJ4 Goku was on screen. All it has are good ideas.

My only true gripe with DBS is the potaro fusion retcon. It’s complete bullshit.

Vegito Blue was so cool and hype...they could have instead said it's unstable without a kai, and it would make sense. Alternatively, we know the Dragon Balls can defuse a potara fusion even if a Kai is involved in any capacity! I'd be fine if Kefla was so overwhelmed by UI that it defused her though, it would show her a thing or too lol

Or they could have said that the sheer amount of power used during the fusion forces them apart eventually. It would explain what happened inside Majin Buu.

It's weird since they used that to explain why Vegito Blue defused earlier then expected in the manga and anime, like SSJ4 Gogeta defusing earlier in GT. They could have said that this was the first time a non-Kai potara fusion was done (to our/their knowledge) so they didn't know. It did partly explain why Goku and Vegeta couldn't power back up to SSB after the fusion. The Buu thing is also weird since it would have made sense to say it was due to Buu's bizarre genetic structure. That's what we all thought for years.

I somewhat blame the fusion dance inconsistencies for this since it did start with GT, then again, GT did start some bad things in Dragon Ball as a whole lol at the very least, Fusion Dance doesn't have much wrong with it

I got Bardock. He's better than expected but his scouter is dogshit. It doesn't fit his face right. I'm glad you can remove it and give him an ear.

I'm caught up besides Manga Bulma. Frieza isn't stateside yet.

Well, I couldn’t have gotten SSJ4 Goku even if I wanted to. Apparently BBTS listed it, but it vanished pretty quickly. Same ordeal with AmiAmi.

I got 2 Pre-Orders in from Nippon Yassan. Hope I don't have any issues with them but my Dad never had any when he ordered Macross figures from them so I'm hopeful.

I remember seeing this custom Mezco Style Goku figure (using a Figuarts Kinnikinuman Body) and it looked pretty decent.
