I wasn't impressed with the first Wonder Woman film. Some of it was entertaining, but the script was awful. Cheesy villains, stereotypical sidekicks, goofy fish out of water jokes, horrible CGI in the last battle, etc. I like Gadot, but they need to do better with her. I'll watch the new one because I watch every comic book movie regardless of whether or not I know it's s*** going into it or not, but the trailer didn't do anything to make me think this will be any different than the first one.

I completely agree with this honestly. It was 'nice enough' but it didn't do anything particularly well outside of Gal's character. I suppose I also enjoyed how Themyscira looked overall. It was overhyped beyond belief because of the woman hero angle (which I have no problem with, the more the merrier), it's a 70% movie at best, and not 90% where it currently sits.

I've found it a slog through watch through after the first viewing, and I don't think I'll be going back to it. And I hate the first fight on the beach, where the wirework looks like it was ripped directly out of one of the early 2000s X-Men movies.

And if we thought the villains in the first were cheesy, I can't wait to see Kristen Wiig's Cheetah...

I just want it to be decent. That’s all I ask from DC at this point. And of course, show as much Gadot as possible, preferably with less armor.

I've tried watching it again, but I can't sit through another full viewing. I end up fast-forwarding through quite a bit of it.

I could see skipping some of the opening act, but outside of that, it was a decent film. I thought it got kind of cheesy near the end though.

Try watching Captain Marvel twice. I got to the part where Fury uses the tape and makes that idiotic joke, knowing full well her capabilities at that point.
