I don't watch it, but Stranger Things is probably the most nauseating with that shit. My wife watches it and I overhear it, and it's trying SO HARD to be the most 80s thing ever made.

Which is pathetic, because if you throw all the references and stylized visuals out the window the actual thing is as modern as it gets.

Nostalgia is fine, but they over romanticize it. Nobody referenced Star Wars back then as much as they do in that show. It was Joes, Transforms, Heman, Vans, Converse....

So everything from this post was true. I mean the trailer itself did nothing for me, but knowing this is the story, along with Jenkins’ continuing on with her awful action scenes means I won’t be checking this one out in theatre like the last.

I wasn't impressed with the first Wonder Woman film. Some of it was entertaining, but the script was awful. Cheesy villains, stereotypical sidekicks, goofy fish out of water jokes, horrible CGI in the last battle, etc. I like Gadot, but they need to do better with her. I'll watch the new one because I watch every comic book movie regardless of whether or not I know it's shit going into it or not, but the trailer didn't do anything to make me think this will be any different than the first one.
