I have a handful of episodes left before finishing TNG. Doubt I'll bother with any other ST stuff beyond the movies, but this looks interesting.

In every shot Stewart looks as uninterested in what's going on around him as a captain's log (aka dead wood). Visually it's just another Nu-Trek, nothing about it feels oldschool or, at the very least, paying homage to oldschool. And HOLY SHIT, even in a trailer for PICARD series the center of plot and narrative is some "special" girl... It's like they mixed two completely different projects together, and Picard is completely out of place.

I'm sure the girl in the trailer will be Lal ("TNG: The Offspring"). They will need to re-con away her death, but that won't be difficult.

I thought the same thing but wouldnt Picard recognize her? It's possible she's a Borg/Lal hybrid or some junk.

I liked the trailer. I'm not getting CBS Access for this, but I'd like to check it out at some point.

I have their cheap ass five a month plan. I watch what i want and cancel all the time. At least we can look forward to the new hollywood trend fatting actors for fun. I'm ready for fat data. lol
