Code Veronica seriously needs an overhaul. I've always liked the plot, but the gameplay is a slog to get through. I think the game had the worst shotgun of the series. There's no satisfaction in using it. Even the RE1 shotgun felt better to shoot.

I just feel like capcom is experimenting with the main storyline too much... since 4... we’ve gotten so many different RE games. Action, to action with co-op, too even more action with co-op with so many main characters, to horror and first person I wonder what’s next.... don’t get me wrong games do need to evolve but their main storyline is all over the place I rather they stick to one formula; RE2make one than get something new.
I hope the series never, ever, goes back to FPS. That shit was disgusting.
I think the mechanics and gameplay in REmake 2 were very refreshing. Limited supplies and super tough zombies really made it a blast to play. Although I wish there was a mode harder than hardcore since it's not even much of a challenge for me anymore.

Give me a longer game too... lol REmake2 was too short... I purposely do the extra side missions (film roll) just to add some extra gameplay. Even getting the side pack from the RPD storage room.
I always grab the sidepacks. Maybe I should start doing the film rolls, too. The game should at minimum been 30-45 minutes longer. I mean you can get to the parking lot inside of 20 minutes...

And I enjoy doing game runs while killing every zombie, headshots.
One thing that bugged me about the weapons was you get gun parts too late into the game. Like with the shotgun... the stock and barrel should of been together at the gunshop.

Never played 7 but is it shorter than 2? I know I’ve seen people on YouTube doing speed runs with 7. Still enjoy 2 but man it’s missing a bunch of sections that the original had... the lab was boring!
I don't recall. I never did a speedrun of it.
They don't know what to do after killing Wesker. But It wouldn't be too hard to make something interesting with what's left; I want them to bring back the Tyrants, make a Ada as spy again and working for the bad guys. It's time for her to be a proper villain. And maybe turn things around for a bit, how about a terrorist group attack the BSAA for once? wouldn't that have happened already? Chris is such a massive and obvious target after all he did that I don't understand how he and his sister are still alive.
And there's a lot of potential with Sherry and Jake, as long as they don't do anything cringey like they did back in RE6. But I don't expect any of this to happen, they really like their loli BOW and they want to keep going with her story.

They need to grow some balls and kill a main character off. Kill Barry or Rebecca. They're not essential.
Shit, you reminded me of Barry, and Natalia and all that crap. I see it, Alex is technically still alive, and living with them, so she could kill his entire family one day. Maybe they can start a game like that, Claire shows up to visit and all the Burtons are dead with Natalia missing. It'd be a pretty gruesome way to start a game.
They completely ruined Alex. She could of been on par as Wesker was as the top tier villain in the series. Wesker was the best villain Capcom ever made and they haven't recovered with anyone else. Bison was only a good villain in the SFII animated movie.

No fucking idea how they can possibly right the ship after that fucking ending. It's the only loose end that could lead to something.
RE10: Wesker's Revenge
Serious talk, would it be crazy if she is successful and kills everyone except for Jake and Sherry? I don't care what they do but it's time for them to do something bold. Even if fans hate characters dying it would make people talk about the series again.
It does leave a window open for Wesker's return. Both RE6 and Rev 2 are both about clones and immortality.
I certainly expect Alex to try to bring him back somehow, she doesn't know Jake exists and I'm sure she'd be interested in using him.
