2019 Hellboy

One of the most fun horror fantasy movies ive watched. Reminded me a lot of hansel and gretel witch hunters.
The critics are just drug addicts for marvel.... i wonder what the critics will do now that marvel avengers are over.
This might not be like the comics but by its own it was a great fantasy movie

It showed up at my dollar theater... thats a record. Usually it takes forever for movies to show up there.

caught it this weekend on redbox...

wasn't bad at all honestly! they had a lot of stuff related to the comic in the movie. i'd def watch if you are a hellboy fan. especially for $2 on redbox!

i think a lot of it had to do w/ the "new" direction and no pearlman...

even after watching, the old lady was like, "i liked the movie, just wish the other actor would have been in it"...

i didn't mind harbor as hellboy... the look was a more realistic take on a demon i think... just more gritty, etc. i'm a huge fan of the 1st flick and pearlman as hellboy... but this was a decent take on it as well. i feel i view them as 2 different movies and it suits them well in that aspect.

yup agreed. i hope they keep up with it. the lobster johnson at the end when he's drunk was classic! lol

I thought Harbor was pretty damn good as Hellboy. There were a lot of similarities between his Hellboy and Ron's so I don't know what people were complaining about.

That bit at the end has made me laugh every time I've seen it. "I LOVE YOU LOBSTER JOHNSON!"

i watched the deleted scenes and there was one w/ hellboy in the shower and the blood queen comes in.... wish they would have left it in the movie! was pretty freaky to see him with the hooves for his feet!

I think the movie is a perfect horror movie and im really sad there will never be a continuation.

I thought it was decent. I actually prefer Stranger Things Hellboy over Pearlman. The new design looks more sinister and imposing. It's not a great movie.. but then again none of them are TBH. I think the only thing that's better in the original series is Abe. Felt weird seeing Hellboy without him.

I still want to check this out but will wait to pick this up on Black Friday. I know I'm going to probably enjoy it though.

Abe will certainly be welcome in the sequel. Definitely need a sequel to improve upon the franchise.

But then the hellboy actor talked shit about the movie so who knows
