Finally saw it... :p

Great little roller coaster that doesn't take itself seriously.
Turn off your brain and enjoy the madness.
It's not a good film or good adaptation of comix... but I had a lot of fun.

Harbour is great, I like how silly and childish he is.

Gruagach stole the show, I was laughin' my ass off every time he was on screen! :ROFLMAO: It was cool to finally see good mix of man-in-the-suit and CG, which were properly combined with good writing and voice work. I didn't even got mad when ge became full CG in the finale.

Ian McShane plays Ian McShane, which is good enough already... but that scene at the end was so hilariously ridiculous, it made me cry.

Such film may anger Hellboy fans, and Del Taco fans are def in full rage. I pity both because this is exactly what one should expect from a $50 million movie directed by the King of English Trash himself. Never change, Mister Marshall.

I'm a fan of the comics and still liked it. The nods and references made to the books was great plus who didn't love Lobster Johnson killing Nazis. Lol

This is going to be like Dredd. It won’t make any money, but in a couple years everyone is going to be bitching that they won’t make another one.

I loved Dredd before Netflix got ahold of it. I was thrilled someone produced a figure.

Dredd is a great movie that didn’t get the support it needed from the studio. They could have knocked out 2-3 more films easily with Urban.

Yep. And Urban is actually a fan. He brought so much to the role, in my opinion.

It didn't get support from fans when it was out in theaters mainly due to many factors like the old stallone film and that they assumed it was a rip of in terms of story from the raid. It's not until after that it did good on home release and because of that they didn't want to green light a sequal due to the box office takings being poor not because it was bad but because no one showed interest in it until it was to late.

I didn't stay to see the end credit scenes don't suppose you did?
I did, both.

Lobster's ghost motivates Hellboy while drunk Hellboy is fanboying over seein' Lobster.
It was pretty funny and down to eath (pun intended). :D

The post credit one is Baba Yaga talking to a mystery character about Hellboy's eye.
I think that was Koshchei Bestmertni since, if I remember correctly, Yaga owns his soul in the comix.

Yup. Lol had to see both in bad camera quality on youtube. But that first one had me dying at the end. 😂

I regret not seeing Dredd in 3D at the cinema since the slo-mo stuff was supposed to be trippy as hell. I loved how much of a nasty cunt of a villain Ma-Ma was too.

I imported the French version on Blu-ray (with subs, of course) since the UK one has subpar image quality.

It was pretty cool to see Baba Yaga on a big screen, by the way. She's a classic folk character in Russia, I grew on tales and USSR film adaptations where she's a villain (main or supporting). Didn't really care for the design... but loved how they didn't shy away from her child eating habits.

People went nuts when chicken-legged hut appeared. It was very emotional. :D

That definitely was awesome putting her in not to mention the whole scene with her was straight from Darkness Calls of course that end credit scene sets up the rest of that story with a particular character.

As of April 14th international box office was ~$117 millon. The movie already brought its budget back and producers have been counting the income for two weeks, even if they only get 33%.

Guess now we know why Hot toys are releasing their figure. Glad to know it didn't go to waste. Hopefully we see a sequal and it doesn't involve 16 producers that will ruin it. Plus i rather see another director take over and make it better. Or even lets just get a damn Netflix series that is close to the books.
