Exactly. This show is not that bad. I feel like Geeks & Gamers, WCBS, etc. are being bitches about this being “the worst series ending ever!” They bitch about sjw outrage and outrage culture, yet here they are acting like this show violated them (posting daily videos of their disdain). I think this season has been quick but not bad by any means.

There were a few things I wasn’t happy with. I’ll have to mull it over some more before posting what I think though.

It was sold as a finale but most of the episode was an epilogue. That will rub a lot of people wrong.

I can't say I'm happy with most of the decisions they made in the finale, but I'm not letting it ruin the show as a whole like some people are. The only things I got right were
Jon passing on the throne and leaving to be with Tormund and Ghost, Sansa ruling the North, and Tyrion ending up as Hand to the King

Things I Hated:
Jon killing Dany - I've never really liked Jon as a character. He's always squinting and looking worried and is prone to doing the "right" thing in the most straight-forward way to get himself killed multiple times over then frets about the result even when he succeeds. Having him kill Dany then say it doesn't feel like he did the right thing is one more example of him being manipulated into doing something one way when he could have resolved it better another way. Also, he didn't like Dany killing people who betrayed her, but last time I checked, he killed a bunch of Night's Watch men for betraying him. Fucking hypocrite.

Bran as fucking king - You have got to be shitting me. I would have believed Davos becoming king before Bran. You can't tell me everyone that voted yes is ok with the creepy autistic guy ruling the Seven Kingdoms. Most of them don't even know of or understand the implications of him being the Three-Eyed Raven.

Sansa - How the fuck can Sansa say the North won't bend the knee again when someone FROM THE NORTH - not just from the North but NED STARK'S OLDEST SURVIVING SON and HER OWN BROTHER- is the one sitting on the throne. That bitch just wanted to be Queen and decided she'd keep the North separate so she could have a kingdom of her own.

Greyworm - There wasn't anything to keep him from killing Jon after he killed Dany. He lost the person he loved and the person he swore to fight for. Why the hell would he have kept Jon prisoner so a bunch of people he didn't know or like could decide to let him go free?

Arya - I guess the significance of the prophecy about her killing people with green eyes was a bunch of shit since she didn't kill Cersei or Dany.

Things I Loved:

The shot of Drogon behind Dany so it looked like she had dragon wings.

Drogon melting the Iron Throne - To be honest, I wish he would have melted Jon too.

Sansa putting Edmure Tully in his place. I don't know why he was there since everyone knows he's a fucking idiot anyway.

Watched the last 2 episodes back to back.

Drogon level'd up. I was fine with her massacre. It was fitting. Everyone that stood with her suddenly turned against her. So fauk em..... The destruction was glorious. Though Arya surviving all those death instances was tiring.

CleganeBowl was ok. But it started off great with the brain brash of Cersei's hand.

The dragon wing shot was kewl.

Would have liked to have seen Jon vs Worm. Or at least one good one on one fight that wan't just tossing each other around. Jamie v Euron was weak.

Did not expect Bran to be King, but apparently he did.

Good with Jon leading the north folk.

Yea, Bronn made it.

While this season's quality was defiantly lower this season, I ok with the ending. Apparently the internets is not.

People are flipping out about it. I get that some stuff didn't work out the way it was expected--though why anyone would expect a happy ending for anyone in this show is beyond me--but there are people writing off the entire show just because they're not happy now. Even at it's worst, as a whole it's still better than the majority of shows I've sat through in my life.

To my understanding Martin is involved to some extent in how this ended, I don't know how a bad ending can be surprising considering he's a nihilistic hack. I knew Tyrion was going to live no matter what, he's the stand in for the author.

Martin let them know where the books were headed, and the show runners loosely went off that. I'll be surprised if the books end the same way though. There are a bunch of characters in the books that didn't get introduced in the show, and some that died in the show are still alive in the books so far. I'd be that even if the books end the same way, Martin will do a better job of leading up to the result than the show did this season.

It's not too hard to make a better job, even for him. But it won't be a happy ending he's unable to do that.

I didn’t hate it. I was fine with Bran as he was the best choice realistically. Jon is stupid and naive. I thought it was ironic that he ended up where he began. I really had hoped a white walker would have stolen the last scene in the north.

Everyone is focused on Sam's water bottle

meanwhile nobody noticed that he's a voting as head of house Tarly one moment and five minutes later he's a measter. He's a fucking father of an unborn child! He's practically married. He's helping Gilly raise her first child. He said earlier he was going home to restore House Tarly. Measters aren't allowed this stuff! Now he's part of Brandon's court. Whatever.

It was an underwhelming finale but I didn't hate it. Just like that post way above Dexter's finale was one of the worst endings in history of TV. That was garbage.

It wasn’t that bad. I think people just like outrage culture and hate for fun.

It’s the “in” thing nowadays to shit on anything popular. Zod forbid anyone just enjoy something. Instead, they have to be personally offended because it wasn’t exactly how they wanted it—therefore no one should get to enjoy it.
