In no particular order, but my first one is my overall favorite:

The Fly has always been my bread and butter when it comes to sci-fi horror. A masterclass in film making and effects.

It pains me to put The Thing #2, but that film is more watchable since it's got a bleak ending but it doesn't leave me depressed with how The Fly does.

I still get physically angry that Cronenberg couldn't get the budget he wanted for his sequel which would take place in the same universe. He said it would be a oblique sequel that had a modern understanding of genetics and involves teleportation. The script was good to go.
