The books are awesome and that’s what they’re going by instead of the games. There will probably be some disappointed gamers though.

By the way, I didn't like Cavill's cast since he's waaaaay too good looking and buffed for Geralt, but was willing to give him a chance because they could just make-up the shit out of him. Unfortunately, he looks like Hopeman in a wig in the teaser and too bloated on that set photo.
