I don’t even know what that is. I barely knew what the Whisperers were, due to having the entire arc in graphic novel form (but hardly touching it), as well as the Governor and Negan’s arcs and the earlier part of the books.

I don't know much about them in terms of story.

My wife has been rewatching the show from the beginning and I've been half watching it when it was on. It just reinforces me point that the show derailed after season 2. The Governor was cringy as fuck. His whole demeanor as a character changed when he put the Oreo on and became the stereotypical villain that just gets off on being that. The whole arc with him doesn't even remotely resemble the comic. And I don't know if that's a good or bad thing since both were given moronic endings to them and Kirkman even admitted not liking what he did in the comic. Some random nameless jobber girl character shoots him in the head.

I completely forgot about the ghost phone dumb shit they had Rick doing.

I think the Governor went out a lot better in the show than in the comics. And I didn’t mind the way they handled him.

I really didn’t have many issues with the show, until Beth. And then the double whammy they gave us in season 6. And, of course, season 8 had all kinds of problems. It got to the point that I actually didn’t bother to watch some of the episodes until a week after they aired.

They did him better in the show, but anything is better compared to what he originally was.

True. I feel like Negan is the only one I’ve liked on both fronts, as far as villains go.

He did it well from what I’ve seen, but he’s too sickly looking. He could stand to gain 30lbs. Negan is built like a linebacker.

I mean, he holds his own. It’s believable. It just isn’t Comic Negan.

In some moments he felt too much of a cartoon villain. I enjoyed the character - the writers just made of right mess of the war storyline.

I stopped reading after the War arc and only know who they are by name. Although I read about them recently and thought they were meh. Maybe I'd feel different if I read beyond what I did, but the War arc ended so anti climatically that I outright stopped.
