Getting him as Tony is the best move they could have made for casting. It's rare seeing something like that actually work out.
I don't know why it's being bitched about on Facebook, like does no one remember all the flashbacks of him as a teen?
People are going to bitch no matter what. If they used CGI, they'd bitch that it didn't look real enough. If they cast someone else, they'd bitch it didn't look like him. As long as his kid can act, it'll be as close to having James Gandolfini on the screen as you can get.
The kid is a dead ringer for his dad.
I'm looking forward to the trailer. I want to see and hear him as Tony. I think it's going to be scary accurate and will hopefully silence the naysayers.
I wonder who’s playing his mother and Junior.

He'll be able to pull off the attitude so I think he'll be fine.
That's what I was thinking. He looks more like a bruiser than the other guy. I wonder who's playing Junior since he hasn't been shown yet.
