They don’t care. They’ll invent any reason to virtue signal. They’ve done the same thing with many other films. They’re so clearly bored with their existence.

Their point is that they’ve gone two episodes so far without any female representation that isn’t just one line of dialogue, which I can understand. With how large a presence female characters have had in every Disney Star Wars movie, I can easily see why modern Star Wars fans think it’s “weird” or doesn’t feel right.

Personally I’m fine as long as a good story is being told, and so far I love it. I can’t wait for Cara to show up because she looks badass.

Yeah and people are tired of hearing it. It’s pretty clear that the woke Twitterverse is not welcomed by the average normal human being.

I’m saying it’s definitely a departure from what fans of modern Star Wars are used to with the sequel trilogy, Rogue One, Q’ira in SOLO, etc.

However I definitely don’t think the overall quality depends on the gender of characters as long as they’re well written and serve a compelling story. If people can’t find any enjoyment from the show because two 30 minute episodes didn’t prominently feature women then that’s another problem. The show is about the Mandalorian, the second episode was just about him stranded in the desert for the most part, he barely interacted with anything apart from Jawas.

I’m not defending people attacking the show on social media for it. Female characters absolutely have to show up - I don’t think it’s any question they will. They even have a few female directors hired on for this season and Kathleen has been pushing for diversity.

I think she looks cool. I haven’t seen her in anything myself. Isn’t she a fighter in real life?

It’ll be nice to have a woman in Star Wars who actually looks tough rather than another Kathleen self-insert brown haired, blue eyed British girl. I love Emilia Clarke tho.

She’s had a few minor roles as the tough chick body guard type. Everything else I’ve seen her in has been a disaster. She not bad either. And not bad looking.

We're two episodes in and still don't know his name. The longer they put off that detail the more people will expect a payoff.

So far there's nothing that keeps this from being Boba Fett.
