That’s badass!

Flare out the gi on his back a little bit. When he charges his hadouken, it turns the top of his gi into a parachute.

I always hated drawing Cell. Piccolo too. There’s something about their designs that I can’t seem to enjoy when it comes to that aspect.

I do alright with the head portion, but the moment I get to the shoulders and below it becomes a mess. And my main issue with Piccolo is when his cape is on. Drawing the saiyans is most definitely easier.

That’s badass! That’s definitely where the bus stops for me. Past the neck area is when I just can’t seem to draw the bastard.

You just need to smooth out the gradients. Or is it gradience? Either way, that should do it. Blend in the lines of shading. Unless you’re talking about proportions?

I would do that. but 99% of the images I find of Cell, their entirely separated like that. I think it looks better like that anyway since it's like a crystal ball.

I might do an RE sketch in a few minutes since I need a break from this. I thought it would be faster but his work is taxing. Gohan will be quicker.

I'm so thankful I finally honed what I always wanted, a fucking style. I've drifted from dozens of approaches but it's taken me to 34 to finally figure it out. There's one pen tool that I downloaded which is what I use almost exclusively. It's a cross between a calligraphy and a ink pen. I've always been terrified of doing shit in an ink look, and now I can machine it out all of a sudden. It's due to being able to change the line weight in mid stroke to thick or thin and back again.

Varying the line weight is the real magic.
