When I take my time, I can do good proportions.
Few things I wanted to talk about. I've been really hating my work for a really long time. Know what the problem is? The wrong fucking canvas size on Procreate. I was using way too big for the brushes since the brushes are more conducive for smaller canvases. I'm using essentially a default canvas, with just a higher DPI. I actually like the stuff I do now.
I could sit and grind one drawing and make it look incredible, but I don't have all day to do that and I'm trying to post everyday. Simple portraits are easier. But, I'm going to try and finish that duo WIP I posted tomorrow. I'm off Tuesday for a doctor's appointment so I can stay up a little later.
Now that I started using ink and I'm getting comfortable, I almost don't want to use anything else. It allows for chaotic brush strokes that make you look like a genius and gives linework character. Although I still have a lot to learn and I want to get better with it. But I feel like I just "leveled up" a lot compared to even recently.
