Finally got around to watching this. I really enjoyed it. Had a few laughs. I may actually get the Mafex figure after seeing this and I had zero interest before.

I liked it. It was a safe movie with heart.

 

[Dino]

I found it kinda genetic. Too by the numbers. It almost felt like a kung fu panda movie. The stone demons reminded me of a cartoon like that.
The villain was too cliche.

 

[Darth Maul]

He wasn’t as cliche and tired as the abomination from Justice League. And at least he was kinda cool, unlike... whatever the flying saucer was in Green Lantern.

 

[Dino]

Yeah but i guess for me he needed more screen time
And at the end of the day his motivation and hus goal was the same as the justice league bad guy. Technically they were two evil beings in search for an item they want and they both had gargoyle like henchmen...
And the ending of both movies is similar lol

The group of super friends fight the flying henchmen while the hero beats the villain lol.

You actually made me realize how close they are lololol

His motivation was interesting. I did not care in the slightest about Goat Man.

The meeting with his dad was interesting yeah. But then it became genetic.

As generic as he was, I liked the villain WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than the "heroes".

Thought the villain was pretty kewl. I liked the glowing eye.

I liked Billy. The others I’m not as much of a fan of.

The best part of the movie was the banter between the two kids when.he becomes shazam.
I hated when they argued because that ruined the best part of the movie which was their friendship and interactions.
I know their argument fueled the plot and worked to have the kid get kinapped, but i wish the movie had more of the two of them goofing around
