I never rooted for anyone in this series besides Wesker, and that’s the truth. I wanted him to win in RE5.

By RE5, Wesker was at peak power. And you cannot convince me he would have willingly used Uroboros, even accidently. I firmly believe they knew Wesker would annihilate any RE protagonist easily, besides maybe Jill, Sherry and Jake, so they had to make up some shit on how he would be defeated. If he won originally, I'd like it too. I don't know if I'd want that NOW though because I can see Capcom messing up and making us more frustrated in some stupid way. Even if they did some alternate continuity like Operation Racoon City back in the day.

Took the words out of my mouth but to be fair, I would take Wesker at Olive Garden over....uhh a lot of shit now.

Wesker was so unkillable that I'll admit, it could get boring after a while and it probably would be Mary Sue-ish. That said, that's why him ending the franchise OR at least the main protagonists would have been fine. I'm worried he'll be a total waste in RE4make.

Even him weakened was still dodging bullets. There's no way a human no matter how capable would be able to keep up with that. Like he's choking Sheva and could of broken her neck instantly. They were given so much plot armor it was silly.

They could of have something to weaken him that was more believable than turning fucking lights out.

Also the QTEs where he easily took out either Chris or Sheva (maybe both) if not for the other should you fail it. I'm also pretty sure Lost in Nightmares is him going easy and toying with them, and he probably planned to fake another death.

Far as I know, they could have messed up with his serum and dosage better instead of just an overdose.

Yeah, a guy like Wesker would have developed a stronger version of the virus that made him what he was, to counteract anything else he might get infected with.

He wouldn’t inject himself with the fucking Oroboros.

It really has. And not in the same way that I’m sure Marvel fans were embarrassed to have all the casual crowd raving about the MCU. The shit Capcom has been doing is flat. Out. BAD!

You can say all you want about the MCU, but it did a lot for Marvel and the bulk of the films were very true to the characters and the history of the characters. It wasn’t really until after Endgame where shit started changing. Granted, a lot of us have scaled way back on the MCU, but still.

This is so true, and Marvel absolutely needed the MCU. Capcom doesn't need majority of what they've done lately. They were doing fine mostly, some problems of course but nothing major.
