I kinda like the Cleopatra one since it's the only period one that doesn't look like a Predator at all.

Is Alpha supposed to be the original design they shitcanned?

Yes, he’s based on the original design. The initial Alien was more like a walking roach. They fired Van Damme for being an incessant bitch and brought in Stan Winston, after they secured more funding. The original suit was then scrapped. Thank god.

This Alpha Predator is actually just an ancient Predator that killed one of the roach creatures and wore them as armor. I know you guys hate this word, but the Yautja were slaves to these ugly fucking things. That’s the lore anyway. I’m not sure if it’s been made canon or not. I’m sure Fox has let it run rampant in the comics?

I don’t really like Cleo. Don’t really like playing as her. I only have her loadout because she’s canon in the game and the Predator world, as of right now. I also don’t like the Mayan Predator. I think they both look dumb as fuck. As does the Emissary.

Yeah the original design had a super tiny head. So glad they got rid of that early enough and replaced it with Cameron's design.

I’ve been opening up boxes like crazy and still can’t seem to get the Jungle Hunter mask. I bet you I’ve opened at least 5 to 7k of these stupid boxes—in all—and have yet to get the mask. I’ve got variations of it, but not the one that actually unlocks it by default.

It's more like standart Predator wearing shitcanned Predator's parts as armor.
Completely idiotic design, especially the mask that looks two times bigger than the head of the creature it supposed to represent.

I love those builds @Darth Maul one looks like the most meta one you got, the smart disc is a beast I wish I could use it more but it's so reliant on ping...

He def deserves credit for aranging the whole thing - stopping production to axe unusable design, finding new people, supervising the design process, etc. Heck, if it wasn't for him the iconic face reveal wouldn't have the punch it had.

The City Hunter build is basically the one everyone had, that I used to know. Some would opt for the net gun in place of Combi stick or disc though.

I am right there with you on Emissary, Cleo and Exiled being complete dogwater. Could not disagree more about Bionic though. It’s like he was made for this universe. It’s as if Terminator and Predator had a baby. I’m all for it.

The pistol + smart disc + assassin, that might be the best build for Wolf, kinda hurts because I'm a melee guy, always have been, in every video game. But ranged weapons are the most reliable ones, melee is too risky

Yeah most people I've seen use the netgun, can't blame them tho because of the ping issue

I don't have a problem against the idea of a cyborg predator, it kind of makes sense, though they strike me as the kind of creatures that use bare minimum tech. They don't use it to be lazy and have shit done for them like us, I figure a predator without an arm would just be a hardass and hunt that way that said, I like the idea, I would like to see that in a different kind of game but I just don't like this particular design a whole lot. Also why did they give him the roar of female predators... that's a weird one

Anyway, I’m guessing this isn’t just a Predator that upgraded himself. I’m thinking he survived a hunt that went south and nearly got him killed. Would be cool to have a static trophy of whoever or whatever fucked him up, on his armor.

I'll dip my toes in some pred gameplay but I'll probably end up doing fireteam 90% of the time. I always enjoy the teamwork side more.

If you want any kind of challenge at all, don’t play Fireteam. Once you get everything unlocked for them there is literally no point anyway. Two really good players can wipe most Predators out there. It’s more challenging as a Predator. Although, it’s kind of dogshit that it’s that way. There needs to be some balance.

That's the problem with all these asymmetrical games. They go through periods where one side or the other is stronger; both sides complain and it just keeps swinging wildly back and forth.

I usually find they're more balanced (even if not fully) at launch before the dev's start listening to the lowest common denominator players.

Though perhaps that's not the case with this particular title.

Its even worse than that, a single fireteam player can kill a predator no matter how good they are. It's proper broken, and you're stuck with the default preds unless you get the dlc

I’d say it still takes a fairly damn decent player to solo a good Predator. Even then, the Predator has a lot of things going for him. Throw in another player though and the tables turn immediately.

So I got the game and y'all were dead on. Killing the predator is so easy that its ridiculous. I want some kind of challenge, not just winning every game without any doubt.

My first Pred game was more fun. Just hate that the queues are 6x the length.
