Oh no I mean they started with Age of Apocalypse in release order. This version is a subsequent released based on Jim Lee's Magneto.




The fact they went with AOA was the reason I didn't even bother with this line.

Age of Apocalypse Magento takes a steaming dogshit on classic Magneto. Dude is so powerful he fucking killed a god level mutant.

Hell, I even think I like the design better. It’s about the ONLY thing from Age of Apocalype I actually liked. At least the Clone Saga from the 90s Spider-Man comics actually grew on me.

Without a doubt. But the sheer power he commanded in that alternate timeline just takes a shit on the normal Magneto. I actually don’t mind the red cape on the AoA Magneto. I think it differentiates the two realities.

It works when the cloak is wrapped around his torso. When it's not you get red-on-red, aka bad design that makes it look like his briefs float in the air. Either change color of his suit or keep the cape's lining purple. That's just common sense.

I'd just get one and that's it. Considering I've sold a lot of mine and just have Avengers Iron Spider to go. I'm surprised a number of them sold out; Advanced Suit made sense but PS4 Iron Spider?

That's the only spider I'd ever get, but it doesn't look good enough

The Wolverine they announced a little while ago is the only figure that looks like HT actually tried for once

I actually think they’ll tweak the Raimi Spidey before it releases. Not even worried about it. Probably because I don’t plan on getting it though.

As for Wolverine, I still believe the definitive look is his futuristic outfit. Would love to get an updated head for it, but I think I’m good. Still, this new one is pretty damn impressive looking. And the jacket isn’t pleather for once.

Is Hot Toys learning? Could we be seeing a turn? Hoping to hear they are bleeding excess dye from their materials soon. That’s been my biggest gripe with them overall, as far as quality is concerned.
