It is, they finally released a terrain tool packet but Sand and Shale terrain aren't even on Sandbox. And every free update comes with a paid DLC... In my honest opinion I think that's the plan, give us a nibble, buy DLC. By the the time the game actually looks as it should have been at launch, it'll be 20 dlcs later.

It's been like $50 in DLCs that should of been in there from the beginning. I bought up the previous ones out of bordom, but I don't feel $15 for three dinosaurs and a new fucking building is worth it...

With Sand finally added to Nublar makes a hell of difference. Now for shale or again... bigger Nublar!

Of course recent file scrubs have found 93 Dlc listed in game files along with skins, character names, amenities like benches. So expect the actual base game we should have had at launch this Winter.

Yeah I saw the 93 leak. They're better be classic skins. We need the Rex female with the really dark eye sockets. I used sand on my Nublar and just put it around any water source.

There's also a leak that every island is getting a sandbox mode.

Is the Sanctuary DLC worth $15? I want to play the game but I can't stay interested in it too long since we're stuck with such small sandboxes.

All the Sanctuary DLC does is force you to grind the narrative of JWFK to unlock new dinos. After that you unlock those Islands to use with Sandbox mode that they updated with Update Patch where all islands are Sandbox. Sandbox on Sanctuary is much bigger than Nublar. However I noticed that the people in your park aren't anything but Staff when it's open. So it forces you to go back to Nublar or the smaller islands if you want "People" in your park. Personally I'd just wait out the rest of year and see if the 1993 dlc IS coming. That's what I'm waiting for is 1993. Some people are speculating the Water and Flying dlcs still... but I'm like with what land?? I have 60+ dino species and habitats big enough for only 13 if I made park realistically.

If frontier wants my money they need to give us a bigger Nublar. I have been battling that freaking Nico Woods asshat since I've been saying it last year. Because their petty excuse to not be able to "add" more would break our game is bs... As I stated many times RDR2 is at 112gb... 112... vs 16gb on JWE... Yeah nothing broken on RDR2 besides spawns for animals decreased but R* did that on purpose because we now have a hunting wagon.

Exactly! The modders who did break into game showed the boundary box was easy to edit. The video I saw on youtube showed where they built new land mass in the ocean behind Nublar box. Hell if they'd just make it to where we have the water type bounding box like a freaking minecraft game and give us a map generator it would solve everyones problem. Imagine people making tour routes with that island editor. Hell I wanted to see if I could make a mountain that made the tour route follow it up.

But alas they NEED more. Bridges that connect over paddocks for tours and etc. There's a LOT I would do to make game better.

Starting to really look forward to the update. It's the missing ingredient that should of been in the game in the first place.

There's talks that the new video clip the showed shows aging. A new model of Stegosaurus looks younger in one clip vs another via wrinkles. They may make it to where the Dinosaurs come out as babies now from Hatchery. But that's speculation.


As I said, they add the Mosasaur, Island Generator, Docks, More Buildings and Amenities they can finally say this game is done.

I saw that profiles video but I had no idea about the speculation on aging. That would be a neat touch. Rexs only live to around 30 (from what scientists assume)

One thing I'm really hoping for that they get the JP1 Female skin correct and has the darkened eye sockets.

We need an island we can develop from the ground up... why this wasn't the plan from the beginning is beyond me.

Sorta like Hawaii already has, make a big ass mountain where the JP tour Vehicles actually overlook a paddock while into going another one. Sorta like in Telltale's Jurassic Park The Game. This clip shows what I mean, the roadway on a mountain side over looking balcony.
