By the way, I was going to pick up Lady, but after watching all the reviews on YouTube, I decided against it. She is a terrible figure. The facesculpt is good, sure—but the fragile wrist pegs, the midriff paint rub and poorly implemented holsters is just meh.

And while his coat is more streamlined and tighter to the body, the in game coat doesn't look like that at all. It's very rectangular and not form fitting like that, where as the 1.0 is more in tune with that. I didn't realize but it's the wrong color on both versions. It should be crimson/candy red. Also, his little harness rig is the wrong color on the new one but the 1.0 is closer to accurate.




Here's a really good example of how not slimming the coat is when he looks really blocky here with it.

I like her, but you can't fucking pose her because of the arms.

They just grabbed basic red leather instead of dyeing white leather with proper crimson.

You're right that the coat isn't supposed to be form fitting, but the main issue is body proportions.
He should look like Jackman's Logan.

Instead, he looks like the guy who played him in that silly Japanese musical.



BTW, Asmus' body details look suspiciously close to this picture as well (which is a very bad photomanip).

I wouldn’t risk dying leather in this hobby. Asmus might have done well with their DMC4 coat, but something tells me they didn’t go that extra mile for the DMC3 coat. Dying this one would definitely deteriorate it faster. I’m not bothered by the color they chose. They’ve botched Lady as well. And I think Vergil is slightly off, in that regard.

If it's genuine lether then nothing would happen. But since it's already dyed it would be difficult to do regardless.

I think Vergil is slightly off, in that regard.

Same as with Dante. He's too damn slim.

Yeah Vergil is a fucking mess of a figure with his hair completely wrong. There's wiggle room with Dante, but not Vergil.

I actually like Vergil though. They can’t seem to get Dante right. Granted, I still think the DMC4 Dante is badass. Just looks more like Boromir than Dante.

I’m it’d be cool if they do an upgrade pack for Vergil with a more accurate Headsculpt, a hair down Headsculpt, Beowulf, and I think it’d be cool if they threw in the coat from DMC4 SE (which is really the 3 coat with those shoulder straps)

I’ve asked multiple times on Instagram about a Vergil pack and nothing.

I just noticed they shipped my Dante pack out. I’ll have it by the end of the week. It’s in Alaska right now.

I got mine from them last week. The two heads and the shotgun are the main reason I got it. The rest is kinda meh, to be honest.

The two swords look like heads of gummy worms were chopped off and glued to cheap plastic saw blades. And the guitar weapon is cool, but it’s severely lacking in detail. I also think it’s missing some blades. The nunchucks weapon is decent. I didn’t mess with that one much.

And yes, I don’t know any of the names, because I’m going to be honest… I rarely used anything but Rebellion and when I didn’t, it was very brief.

Agni and Rudra are the twin swords. They're my favorite besides Rebellion since it's lvl 3 main attack is a giant tornado thing.
