Never heard of the comic before. Might give it a watch.

I wish they'd have given him the white skin and prominent red circle on his chest instead of whatever the hell they did in that trailer. Looks about as generic as can be--Universal Soldier with nanobots. Might be a fun watch, but my expectations are super low for it.

They should have used Jason David Frank. I’d have gotten behind it, but they gave him the shaft, so I couldn’t care less.

Fuck that loser Green Ranger. I see him being a douche at conventions all the time. Vin Diesel is fine for the role, but you'd never know that was a Bloodshot movie if they didn't pop the title on the trailer.

He’s good with a crowd that’s there to see him specifically. Otherwise. I always see him leaving his booth and doing martial arts in the aisles to get people over to him. It’s desperately cringy. There have been too many times that I’ve seen him strut around like it’s a big fucking deal to be Green Ranger. Maybe it’s be different if I grew up watching the show. Since I didn’t, he always comes across as a cocky has-been who is desperately trying to extend his 15 minutes. Guess it beats working a real job though. He probably makes more than I do, and I’m killing myself every week to make my money.

I don’t consider JDF a has-been. He loves what he does and fans love his Power Rangers portrayal(s). He’s one of the main draws of that entire franchise and arguably the reason it was as big as it was. The whole Green Ranger redemption arc was good stuff, for a kid growing up in the early 90s.

Like I said, I didn't grow up watching the show. I've never seen a full episode of any Power Rangers show. I'm just going by what I see from him when I'm at conventions. There's no way any studio would toss him the lead role in a movie like this. He's going to spend the rest of his life signing autographs and thinking he's the shit because he was a Power Ranger. Not a bad way to make a living, mind you, but he peaked back in the 90's.

This has long been established. I've seen many stories of him loving the smell of his own farts at cons, not to mention his ego the size of a skyscraper when he was on the show. He spearheaded fucking with David Yost constantly because he was Gay. He's also still holding onto a grudge against ASJ because he one time lied and said he killed someone fighting. JDF is a fucking Carny, while ASJ went overseas to be a military medic.

Some of them yes. The only one I remotely liked was the Zeo series.
