The whole point of "Transforming" is so that the giant, metal robots are in disguise from humans. Who the fuck is gonna see a giant, metal gorilla and think, "Nothing odd about that!" Because you know, ALL gorillas are like 30 feet tall and made of METAL.

But seriously, I remember this show but seemed off to me. It's kinda be like putting Transformers in any period. Would 1890 work? Not really... only thing they hide as are boats and guns.

That's a thought... Wyatt Earp's gun was so accurate because it was Optimus Prime.

They're not metal though really on the outershell. And the disguise gimmick only was a thing in the very first episode as they didn't know what form each side took.
