I’m not sure I’d lump Inception into the sci-fi genre myself.
Name some movies like alitaI’m not sure I’d lump Inception into the sci-fi genre myself.
It’s in the sci-fi genre. It doesn’t suck ass. There are plenty of movies out there. If you mean specifically like it? No, I can’t give you anything. Same with the Matrix when it came out.
Ya’ll reading too much into a comment lmao. What I was getting at is that it’s sci-fi, it’s got a good story that has some heart to it and it’s well directed. So, someone not liking it clearly has a bias against sci-fi.

That's why I'm asking for specifics.. because I didn't like it. Yet I like ALL the previous movies I listed. Which are ALL sci-fi movies. So the idea that people who don't like Alita don't like sci-fi...
Im not gonna argue your points but it made me think:Haven't seen, and have no desire to EVER see Captain Marvel, but I've tried to watch Alita twice and got bored both times. Which resulted in me turning it off and trying to rewatch it later. Just not my thing I guess!? The biggest problem with it (for me, so far) is the actress who plays Alita is terrible. Her voice is emotionless and dull. Which doesn't help when you have a CGI character. She was the same in Maze Runner. She's basically the same in every role i.e. she can't act.
She wasn't playing a cyborg/robot in The Maze Runner. And she was just as emotionless and dull. She can't act.
I haven’t seen The Maze Runner and I’m assuming I’m probably better off for it?
Neither can keanu lol. Thats my point. They picked these actors becausr they are basically robots in real life lol.
