I still need to get around to watching it. My wife did and she loved it but got depressed when watching the finale since season two is out next year.

It is good, the only bad things are the usual political nonsense you can see in anything put out there by Netflix. But the story is entertaining and some of the characters are very compelling. It's worth watching

I was actually able to ignore most of it in this show. You can’t really do that with something like Sabrina. It’s so in your face it makes you want to vomit.

Literally the only thing holding the show back for me was how shit Triss was. Not a good part, not a good casting choice and horrible direction, obviously.

I heard about Sabrina. I think my wife watched that one and told me how it's beaten over your head.

Yep. It’s not subtle at all. One of the worst offenders on Netflix, in all honesty. And season 2 is so much worse.

The biggest mistake was Triss. She’s horrible. Absolutely terrible all around. The ballsack armor was just goofy.

Netflix is doubling down on Witcher because they just walked away from supporting CBS All Access and their failed Kurtzman Trek shows. Nerdrotic and Doomcock report that CBS has been all over looking for new partners. They pitched ~10 different Trek ideas to carry the franchise forward, nobody wanted to sign on for any of them - including the Captain Pike "Strange New Worlds". Kurtzman's "Gay Kirk" faces a less certain future.

Discovery is not being re-upped for Season 4 and the sets have already been struck - causing huge problems in the edit room as narrative holes cannot be fixed with re-shoots.

Netflix feels CBS completely fucked them over and is trying to pull it's money out of future seasons of "Picard".

Witcher appears to be the fallback tentpole for Netflix.

Finished watching season 2 earlier, it was pretty good, better than the first. I'm still very aware of the diversity bullshit they are injecting into this show, I refuse to get used to seeing a multiracial middle ages setting, it's retarded. But I'm glad to say it doesn't really take away from it and now I'm looking forward to next season

Well the second season was alot better than the first, hopefully it keeps improving. However at this point it's clear the story is going in a much different direction than the books, and not for the better thus far. Don't love all of the casting either obviously.
