Last ND game that was great was UC2 imho. TLOU was okay and rode on the hype of TWD.
Uncharted 4 for me, Lost Legacy kinda but I'm biased because I love Chloe and it was in my homeland. Think you got a point on TWD though.

Thing for me over TWD and a lot of games, TLOU being open ended in its story UNTIL TLOU II tried forcing you to think otherwise was so nice. There's also more then one theme and it's all done well since you can make your thoughts. You can see a lot of what the game does story and gameplay wise coming, but I think that's completely fine because it does quite well and it still throws you for a loop sometimes. I don't think anyone saw that entire cannibals section coming, part of the college area and Tommy's area. And I just can't get over the quiet moments like Bill's town.

I line Naughty Dog games, but they aren’t always perfect. I absolutely could not ever see myself replaying Uncharted 3. Holy shit. But Uncharted 2 and 4? Of course. Hell, even the remaster of the first game is fun, but falls about in the same vein as Uncharted 3, to be honest.

For what it is, the Last of Us games are fun. Specifically the first one. The combat and UI systems are far better in the sequel though. There are things you can do in TLOU2 that would never be possible in Part 1. Despite the horrendous handling of Joel, the game turned out fun. The social dialogue nonsense is whatever at this point. I’m just hoping it’s not so in-your-face in the next game.

Played the first, considered Darkside Chronicles but never picked it up. Still love the joke of how Darkside Chronicles was considered 'RE2make at home' among my friends lmao

I never understood the reasoning behind the genre shift for the chronicles games. Feels like it's missing the point of RE's gameplay (read: Nemesis), and that they could have done something else. Maybe like a 'greatest hits' of each scenario with tank controls, since I heavily feel like UC was reusing assets from RE1make and RE0. Darkside...less so? If my hunch is correct, it really only reused the RE2 callbacks from RE0 and Leon's RE4 RPD model. My only other issue is it does make me realize RE has a VERY bad habit of redoing the same stories now......and sometimes not adding much to that. RE4 joining that is mildly concerning.
