I like it all, except the smile-like-that-guy part. While incredibly funny, the scene's too goofy and out of place. It feels much more natural and in-tone when he smirks by himself while grabbing big ass gun, especially if you watch it after the head-surgery scene.

The surgery scene is a crucial part to the plot and if it wasn't cut, it would make the rest of his behavior be much more clear. But that scene from what I remember isn't smooth so I understand why it went.
