Hopefully, this doesn't turn out to be my 4th statue. I DON'T HAVE SPACE FOR IT!
It's the main reason I don't collect them since so many are huge now.

Most statues, to me, are meh. While the worry with Hot Toys and 1/6 is usually dye bleed and material degradation, you are in constant fear of your statues breaking. Unless they are pvc, which you still have to be careful with. I’d rather not spend a grand on a static piece that could literally shatter from one stupid incident.
Every company has a hardon for 1/4 for whatever reason and that's like buying an $1,800 child that doesn't move.

It’s not just that anymore. The 1/3 scale is gaining popularity now too. I don’t see a lot of 1/2 scale stuff, but I’m sure that will become more common with time.
I’m good with 1/12 and 1/6 scale stuff. The other scales are just byproducts of collecting a certain line, like McFarlane and Neca crap, which seems to love the 1/10 scale.

Prime1 is doing that a lot. You could use their Doom Slayer for a homicide.

I need to play through the Ancient Gods dlc. Still a damn good game. That shit turns boys into men, with a full chest of hair, soccer ball sized Adam’s apple and the raging temper of a tsunami.
I still haven't bought Eternal.

It’s one of the few first person franchises I praise. The rest are run of the mill trash or a step above average, at best. Bioshock might be coming back. That’s another one I generally find exceptional. The story elements and just the overall gameplay is too good not to play through at least once.
Doom 2016 isn’t as good as Doom Eternal, in my honest opinion, but it is damn good on it’s own merits. I prefer how fast paced Doom Eternal is. It really makes you feel like... well, a walking nightmare.

Both recent Doom games surprised with how great they were. I haven't finished Eternal yet but I've been enjoying it greatly like the previous game. Agreed with Darth Maul that it's one of the few first person franchises that deserves respect, for me that only includes Doom itself, Bioshock (though I don't play the games but respect a lot of what it does), and the Metroid Prime trilogy. Do note that despite the heavier focus on shooting, Metroid Prime is labeled adventure but wow, it's some of Nintendo's finest and so distinct from what else they've done.

Yeah, that is too true and these days and I don't get it. I do think the better option would be what F4F does where there's 1/4th and other sizes. 1/4th is cool but the lack of space is crippling.

Never would have imagined that I would one day own an actual statue, now I have got 2 and 1 coming in a few months. All 1/4.
I don't play around much with figures so most collectibles I own would stay in the same spot & (semi-museum) pose I enjoy for years. So in a way, all of them are "statues" to me and now I'm just going for a higher scale. And like everything else, once you start...

To be honest, the game wouldn’t be that bad if they didn’t push the whole “strong women” bullshit so hard. We also don’t really need a subliminal lecture on same sex relationships or transgenderism.
Despite the fact that the biggest fuck up in modern gaming history occurred in the first hour of the game, it would still be okay, were it not for the other nonsense.
The story in part one is way better, but I do prefer the way the sequel plays. I wouldn’t be against them updating part one, as long as they didn’t touch a fucking thing concerning the story and just added the more updated gaming features.
