I can't actually believe all these years later and the ST has made me warm to the prequels. They're not great movies in terms of script and writing, but at least they had vision and an actual plan from beginning to end for the overall trilogy. I don't think I can call them abominations anymore, as deeply flawed as they are.

And there still hasn't been a single lightsaber battle that tops Qui Gon/Obi Wan Vs Maul in any SW movie, past and present. The choreography is on another level.

There are still unbearable parts of TPM and especially AOTC. I’d wager they’re about on par with the last two ST films.
