Resident Evil did die with 5, both Rev games were forgettable, didn’t consider them canon and more like spin-offs and especially now that they didn’t even use Alex and just reintroduced new characters and villains. Lol you would think 7 and 8 would be more “cannon” to the original storyline(which at this point is a mess) or finish some of the mains characters stories. This series just needs to die.

We’ll see how successful these new movies are. After RC and Rockfort island I don’t care about the storyline. Especially with the actor that was cast for Leon... RE4...

That's why the series constantly returns to the Mansion and Raccoon City, since beyond CV, it's so disinteresting beyond that.

I love the RE4 village but you leave it way too soon. The first half of the castle was cool but gets retarded the further you go, specifically Metal Gear Salazer and the moronic Island.

I like to ignore RE4, to me it doesn't exist so this series ends with RE5 for me. Tying up all lose ends and multiple arcs since RE1 and giving an end to the main conflict between the 3 main characters is what makes it great, and that's how the series should have ended.

No more Chris vs Wesker kino? no more RE, it would have been easy to go somewhere interesting with the Organization and the Umbrella PMC but they just keep going forward with stupid shit for new fans
