It looks like they intentionally crippled the game just to ship it out quickly, I always wondered about the early leaks because they seemed very genuine but almost nothing described was part of the final game.

Anyone who doesn’t have their dick straight up Capcom’s ass can see that it was rushed. Hell, even RE2 was rushed, but at least it was a better product. Sure, scenario B was a lazy cop out, but at least they made some kind of attempt.

RE2 needed another year and a half. RE3 needed three.

How in the fuck did RE399 come out so solidly with less than a year to work on it? It's bug free almost overwhelmingly. I've only seen one zombie grab bug in all the years I've played it.

I think RE2 needed maybe another year. That might be too much. Scenario B didn’t need to be drastically different. Would have taken maybe six to eight months more to fully craft a decent one.

Don’t even know where to begin with RE3. They really just need to go back and remake it in the same vein as the original REmake. Do it. Just fucking do it.

I think that'd be too many characters for one movie, and I heard somewhere that Ada will show up but they haven't announced anything so maybe not. I can't be bothered to check.

Yeah they are changing a lot of the story, which is why I wonder what they are going to do with Wesker. Because despite being dead they can totally shoot a ton of scenes with him, they can show how he came back to life and what he was doing during the outbreak. And yes I'm thinking Chris is probably going to be there until the end, with Jill, unlike the games

RE3 is still good enough to play to this day, I was watching a playthrough earlier and it's amazing how 1 hour of that game feels more packed than 3 hours of the remake

Exactly! Even the decision choices and branched paths makes the OG feel longer, even the fact that Nemesis follows you basically from uptown to downtown Raccoon City.

I still think it's the most accessible tank controlled game of the genre. Everything is so crisp and responsive. The first quick turn game maybe ever? The gunpower mechanic is still a lot of fun and should of just become the mainstay for the rest of the series.

Capcom should have just pumped more money into these remakes. The evidence of budget constraints was pretty evident in RE2make as well. I mean ivy? Just a reskinned zombie?
