I noticed the one button to Claire is barely even hanging on. I'll need to buy fabric glue.
Carlos looks like an aged and hobofied version of the guy.
And I can totally see the Wesker guy looking good, but they fucked it up.

They fumbled hard with that jacket. Terrible
Were your buttons just loose in the box? Sometime next week I'll glue it back on. I recommend fabric glue since it's far more forgiving if you mess up.

Headsculpt is shit.
I dunno if you guys seen this way back when, but all the guys that did this are coming back to do the remake.
I really do not like this design. It makes even less sense than the classic dress.
All the RE games are on sale on PSN and my wife is sick of watching 4make so she talked me into trying RE8.
It's somehow even worse than RE7. Where is the gameplay? It's just another movie game like the last one where like every fourth room is a cutscene. And people think this is better than 7? They kill the mascot off that was the selling point of the game like two hours in.

How could you not like completely linear corridors that only appear to be big spaces... that you can't actually explore? How could you not get into an even dumber shooter system with even less survivor elements? Don't tell me you didn't like the main antagonist of the game, who we see/hear from for less than three minutes before "THE TWIST" and who has less charisma than the doll boss?!
Man, you must hate Resident Evil or something...

I’d rather drink my piss from my girlfriend’s asshole than play either of those games. Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 8 should have, by all rights, been turned into another game series—like they did with Devil May Cry.

RE8 can be fine in spots, but I would not revisit it or 7 first or really EVER. Doesn't help that Ethan is incredibly overrated and Chris is peak awful. I also just don't like the first person (even if 8 did get a third person patch) for RE, it defeats the original purpose of the series.
Frankly, RE8 is only good for the castle. That was ok. But it does worry me for RE9 because the remakes are retaining the original spirit of the series while the new games really aren't. Also for 7, never. I would not go back to it. WAYYYY too slow and got some dumb shit, also very copy paste. I put it off for ages for a reason.

I think I'm half way through. That baby monster is hilarious lol. This game is the ass baby of RE4 and PT. It's trying to be PT really fucking hard in spots.

The whole doll house is so PT it hurts lol I liked the puzzles at first but to be blunt, that area alone is why I wouldn't revisit the game. Shit like that where there's only one incredibly linear path that isn't really fun and wears out its welcome is just. ugh please.
That said, I never understood why RE8 took so much from RE4? I don't think any game besides Code Veronica was inspired by a previous game, and Code Veronica is only the last portion of the game which has a justified lore reason.

It even uses the same lighting in that area of the game when the lights go out. The baby monster is pretty on the nose as well and even the one L shaped hallway feels very PT.
