The trick to the mandibles is to take them out and apply some layers of superglue on the sections that plug in. Let them dry well and good and keep applying more layers until they’re snug when you put them in the slots. Do not try to plug them in before at least a good 40 minutes has passed. I’d even say let it sit an hour.
Yeah I've already done that with one mandible that was more loose than the rest, I'll probably do it to the others some other day I've spent too much time with this thing today

This figure is amazing, it's everything I hoped it would be but I did have one little issue, the severed arm was so stiff I had to dip it in near boiling water for it to soften, luckily that worked and now it's all perfect

I gotta say, it was hard to choose between masked look and unmasked for Classic, but with this one I think I prefer it unmasked

I like both looks for Jungle Hunter. For City Hunter, I always tend to go unmasked, because I can’t stand that bedpan of a helmet.

It'd be harder to choose if the color of the mask was more accurate, the bronze of the armor is way too subtle but it should be more colorful and metallic. I might have to fix that myself

I’ve always hated the design and once I made the correlation to the bedpan, there was literally no unseeing it. It’s a fucking bedpan with eye sockets.

Fugitive’s mask isn’t much better. Looks like some kind of ancient Egyptian bdsm mask.

Luckily I don't see that at all, not one bit. They tried to make the original mask look meaner and more menacing. They got the job done, and it being the only predator with bronze armor makes it even more special, bronze will never stop being cool

The Fugitive's mask is not better than any predator mask ever conceived. The only one better than City Hunter's is the original. I still do like that one ancient mask but it has become a forgettable thing for me since it's in AvP

I can’t stand that garbage film. It has killed the potential of the franchise. The new film is going to be such ass, no matter what it tries to do. They just need to bring in Arnold for one last film and have him fight Greyback. That’s all anyone wants to see anyway. Piss off with the rest of this shit.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I got both Fugitive Neca figures on sale, I wouldn’t have a fucking thing from that awful shit. Of course, same goes for Dark Fate Arnold and Linda. Two for one is still a crap deal for how bad that movie was.

I haven’t been able to unsee the bedpan reference for years. I do like his armor though. One of the better looking designs, next to Jungle Hunter’s.

First layer of paint applied, I'll be adding a copper layer tomorrow or sometime in the weekend. I wasn't very happy how it turned out at first but I still need to add different colors to darken it, so it's alright, but I definitely wouldn't just leave it as it is now, the color isn't quite right

I think the color looks too soft if its under a harsh white light, and it definitely needs a copper layer but I'm a bit undecided on how much darker it should be

I would use a black behind the paint. A good solid copper layer or two later and it’ll look just like the real mask, right? Well, sans the weathering.

Just noticed the ding in the helmet is way off. What the fuck, Hot Toys?

I'll try a few things, I'll dry brush it with some black paint after I touch it up with some copper, if anything at least it'll look better than what HT did with it

Very low effort

Seems to be their MO. They go the extra mile when they want to. I mean, at the end of the day, they’re still better than a vast majority of other 1/6 scale companies, but is that really the example they want to set? That they’re just better?

Why not strive for perfection? And don’t give me that “it’s just toys” bullshit. Other companies have no issue doing justice to their products and plenty of them use mixed media as well. Hot Toys needs a serious kick in the ass.

I repainted the whole armor, I added some copper and a generous layer of black wash, the picture doesn't do it justice but there is a big difference, it might look subtle here but to the naked eye it's more noticeable.

I did add a lot more metallic copper to the mask as well, I think it looks the way I wanted it now. I might add more black wash later on but for now I'll wait for this to dry completely

The difference is more noticeable comparing it to how it was

I'm sure mine lacked some paint apps because I've seen pictures online and not all of them looked so brown :poop: and dull

I don't think every CH needs to be touched up, but mine definitely did. I'm happy with how it turned out

It’s gonna be years before I ever get one, most likely. Hopefully I don’t have to do too much to it.

Ask for enough pictures to make sure you get one that looks good, I didn't notice each one could vary so much until I got mine
