I did some final adjustments to the paint in some areas of the armor and applied varnish to seal it, I think I'm finally done working on this figure

After a short search I managed to get the only two special editions of these movies that I wanted, a few months ago I got a lenticular dvd of the first movie, it's nice, but I prefer this one:








The predator 2 one remains unopened, I didn't feel like opening it this time and I doubt I will any time soon




I was surprised to find these so quickly and at such a low price, a couple of burgers in McDonald's are more expensive than these movies were.

And these two are still the best, I might end up getting a trophy set for Classic

I have one of those. Can’t remember which one though. Pretty sure it’s Predator 1. I wish I could get more steelbooks, without going to ebay.

I'd get the steelbooks if the cover art wasn't so depressingly lazy

It's a cheap photoshop anyone can do in less than 30 minutes, not to mention the use of the old Jungle Hunter in the picture instead of something better looking like the Classic or even a statue, no, they had to go for the one that looks like an action figure for kids. Fucking embarrasing

And for predator 2 is even worse, I'm pretty sure I saw a steelbook of that movie with a poorly photoshoped picture of Wolf on it, extremely sad

I decided to paint over the hideous blue color that Neca put on the CH's armor, I figure it's supposed to be a blue wash but they overdid it, now it looks like bronze, the way it's supposed to be

I hate the original paint scheme. They really fucked it up. The battle-damaged version is miles better.

Always wanted to try this pose, getting the skull in his hand was way more difficult than it seems, does look good but I wish they gave it a left hand that could be used for this

I was finally able to grab the Ancient, I've been thinking about getting it for a few months now, and it is great. I was pleasantly surprised to see this mask has the mesh-like pattern under the lense since it looks black in every picture I've seen before

This also happens to be my favorite predator mask ever so this was a must have for me

I thought about getting Ancient for the longest time. I'd need just this and Elder 2.0 to finish the AVP line I believe.

You got Celtic and Scar then, I think I'm good with this being my only AVP figure. And I gotta say, it looks to me that HT put more effort and energy into producing this line than Predators and Predator 2, it looks and feels slightly higher quality besides the fact that it has a shit ton of accessories

Oh absolutely. City Hunter is one of the weaker figures I own I think, even though visually it's one of the betters.

Where the fuck is Jungle 2.0 already. They've literally redid everyone.

Oh absolutely. City Hunter is one of the weaker figures I own I think, even though visually it's one of the betters.

I really couldn't stand the nasty shit-brown color the armor had, I've seen enough pictures to notice some of them came out with good enough paint apps, but for most the armor lacks color, I couldn't even look at my CH before I painted it but now I like it a lot

I don't even look at what HT announces anymore, if anything good comes out I'll find out through other channels. They've been bought by Disney and it shows... I can't wait to see Marvel and DC go under for good

The rate at which they’re churning out turds, both in print and on the big screen, is increasing exponentially. It’s not hard to imagine they could fade into obscurity again.
