Got tired of posting in the Rating thread. Would be nice to have a thread to gauge interest in playing anyway.

Also figured we could post our loadouts and customizations. Here’s my Predator and Dutch. Hard to see, obviously, but if you’ve played the game you get the general idea of what I have on them.

It’s hilarious when I’m the last one alive and the Predator kills me. He says, “I always knew it would be in the jungle” and then they end it. Had one match where I clutched and brought my team back, only to get bodied right after.

I’m getting better at parrying with the knife too. I surprised this one Predator a few matches ago. He still downed me, but I staggered him enough that he had to run off. Ended up leaving my stupid team behind because they wouldn’t stop chasing him.

Pro tip, parrying is next to impossible against the katana and the bow can take out your entire team before you even know where the fucker is at. If you come across someone who’s spec’d for both weapons... you’re going to have a tough, tough fight on your hands.

Had a guy down a Pred with me and he went to defuse the wrist bomb and I ran for the hills and as I did he said, “don’t you leave me peasant.” Lmfao

Just basically solo’d a Pred by myself. I bet he was so frustrated. I parried nearly every swing against that combi stick.

Some people really don’t understand the concept of the game. You don’t stand out in the open when you call the chopper for exfil. You mud up and wait somewhere behind cover to reduce how visible you are. Fuck the ai. The Predator will mistake them for us in many cases. How stupid can people be? Do you even know how to walk outside a building without tripping?

You should have to take an IQ test to play games online. These people can’t follow simple instructions. Stick together. Stop being dipshits. I cannot believe it’s even possible to wipe in the first three minutes before the first objective has even finished.

So, if you helped take down the Predator and secured the body, and the other leading contributor to downing him happens to be the younger Dutch, you do this little scene that’s reminiscent of when Dutch and Dillon did the famous handshake. Except old Dutch is in Dillon’s position. 😆

These people are so brainless. They need to stamp the middle of the fire team loading screen with big bold words “Stick Together.” And if you stray too far away, you get a speed debuff. It’s the only way to combat this level of stupidity.

No, I need these kids to use a brain. I’ve played games with stupid people before, but this is like paint chip eating levels of stupid.

I feel like this should really be a five-on-one type of multiplayer game. Four people just doesn’t seem like enough, given the circumstances. Unless you are terrible at videos games, you have a huuuuuge advantage against four human players. And if you construct your Predator build well enough, you’re essentially a god. I have yet to actually play as a Predator and I already know I would shit on most people, like they were a goddamn joke.

That will never stop being annoying, I get why the game needs it but a 5'11 dude parrying a 7'8 creature with a tiny knife is hilarious and stupid. Also kind of sucks how weak the spear is, the only real use it has now is the ranged attack

This is why I main the plasmacaster as the Jungle Hunter, it's fun to see people jump fruitlessly attempting to escape the blast

BTW I'd gladly help out but I can't really play the game right now, whenever I'm not playing anything I really want I play Fortnite with the wife since she's pretty much addicted to it... oh well, at least I can play as a predator in that game too

It’s only the combi stick that I can parry. Even that has given me trouble lately. I don’t know why. When I first started, it was easy to read. The wrist blades and sword are the hardest to parry by miles. I can’t really parry those at all.

It’s not even worth playing this game as a human, until they balance it out. I have yet to win a game, fairly, in days. I’d say Wednesday was the last time a Predator gave us enough of a challenge, but we still managed to win.

The past few days though, it’s either been a total shit show (which is about 7 out of 10 games) or the Predator has been almost too good. The latter is happening more often. It’s not even funny how easy it is for Predators right now, holy fuck. These dumbasses have NO right to complain about fireteams. We have to struggle just to get to the first objective.

The daily reset just happened and today’s daily is winning 5 matches as a fireteam. Needless to say, that shit isn’t happening for the vast majority of players. I’ve been playing since it reset and haven’t even come close to securing a win.

Once I get the daily done, I’m about to do my first Predator match. I can guarantee you I will shit on these dumbasses.

I got half the team down on my first game. Three ended up getting away. Second game only two got away. Third game I self-destructed and killed them all, lmao.

Fourth game I got absolutely shit on. I survived, but the entire fireteam got away. They definitely have an advantage if they work together. And if they aren’t a bunch of potatoes. That team I had trouble against is the kind of fireteam all these Predator players are bitching about.

I’m not even sure how to balance it out. Maybe give the Predator a slight resistance to certain things like Knife Parry spam and Spotting spam. Something that builds up overtime, but more quickly if done in rabid succession.

As for the potato teams that split up all the time, they need to implement a slight mobility debuff to anyone not near the objective for more than two minutes, if one of them is active.

Anyway, my final game (good god, does it take forever to get a match) was probably the best. It was also the longest of them all. I think it was a twelve minute match—maybe slightly under that. I think I figured out how to best play the standard Hunter class. I’ll post a pic of my build when I get home later tonight, but it’s pretty damn good. I shredded these guys. I didn’t boast or act like a fucking prick either. They got properly hunted.

I've never had to self destruct in my later matches but I did try it once when I didn't know what I was doing, it didn't go well

The best team I've faced was a pain in the ass, I went all out on them since the beginning of the match and they gave me a good fight but I managed to kill the last Dutch player at the very end, one of them was playing as a OWLF dude and he was doing the parry spam the entire time, mostly using the stronger stab attack with the left trigger. It was a great match but it was also the most annoying one I have ever had. I didn't want to use the plasmacaster that much but I had to, you have to if every attack gets parried like nothing

Oh and by the way, seeing the body of the OWLF dude flying away and hitting a tree after I destroyed him with the plasmacaster was one of the most satisfying experiences I ever had in gaming, those moments are what make the game fun 10/10

I self destructed at the chopper to kill them all. I leapt halfway across the map after healing and getting the notification that the chopper was called. Threw my smart disc and leapt in to grab it, quick claimed the guy and then got downed as I was trying to vanish, but I didn’t have my stamina boost perk on at the time. It took them forever to get my mask off and down me and right as they started the puzzle they all got blown to shit.

That’s why I always just run. Even if there’s a chopper coming. It has to already be about to land for me to even risk it. I’d rather just run from the blast than try that fucking puzzle. It can cause a quicker wipe if you screw up too many times anyway, correct?

With the build I have now, I’m pretty annoying. I’ve got motion sensors (so that I’m not constantly going in and out of thermal vision—I swapped the wrist launcher for this and holy shit, thank god) and audio decoy (because it really fucks with some people’s head). If you leap through a camp at the beginning and trigger the alarms, you already start off with an advantage. Do it at the next camp and they’re going to have a hard time the entire match. These two gear items give you even more of an edge.

Initially, I was using Impenetrable, large pouch and light bender for my perks. That wasn’t really working for me though. Pouch seems to be kind of a waste, unless you’re really reliant on that extra healing kit and extra gear uses. It’s whatever for me. I feel like I start off with enough. Light bender just fucking blows. It should only be used if you need to squeeze in one extra perk worth one single point.

Now, I’m using Impenetrable, Modified Reserve (if you’re only using invisibility cloak it won’t even drain the meter—which might mean light bender would actually make you slightly gain energy while fully cloaked) and Adrenal Boost. For weapons, I’m using the katana and smart disc. Anyone not using the smart disc right now is missing out. With the Down Range perk, it one shots anyone except maybe a support class.

Oh, I should probably mention that I use Tracker instead of Fervent. The perk becomes useless after the first down and the goal is to NOT let the entire team get reinforced. I think this perk needs to be looked at. Tracker is way better.

So you really use gear items, I found most of them kind of useless but to be fair I tried each of them only once, the only gear I always use in every single match is the bear traps, those have never failed me and I have won a few matches mostly thanks to them

As far as perk goes, with my main JH I just have Energy Cells, Cooling Syncs and Modified Reserve, it's all about that plasmacaster with that one, I really appreciate how the wristblades are strong enough that you don't really need a melee perk
