I went to the theater to see a re-release of this with my son a couple of years ago. It was his first time seeing it. He loved it, and I felt it still held up as a fun movie. So many memorable scenes.

It's still the only good one period.

It's the best execution of CGI to date by far and obviously the best in the series. ILM really lit everything incredibly well for a film that is so old at this point. Now everything is so heavily filtered and crisp and makes everything look so artificial hollow.

I like the Lost World to a degree but there's a lot of fat I could cut out of it. Pete Postlethwaite needed more screen time. JPIII is a complete turd. JW is a mess but like one bar better than JPIII, but that doesn't say a whole hellva lot. I have yet to see JK.
