I personally feel this series has been declining in quality with each film, so hopefully this is an upturn.

The first one is still solid, the 2nd mixed, and outside a couple of instances I hated the third. But the setup for the next could be promising

The third movie is pretty bad. Not expecting this one to be anything special. All of the magic was in the first two films.

This. The first film is great because it's small, simple and stylish.
The concept died as soon as they went for more set-ups and more action.
The only interesting thing about the sequels are world building, which isn't that good anyway.

I won't watch the 4th one unless a friend of mine will force me to.

And The Continental show based around John Wick has been on backburner. It's finally been green lit for 2023 on... PEACOCK yay another stream service.

I'd say it's 3 years too late.
