The Ecto-1 has seen better days! Glad they're bringing a lot of stuff back for this one. Though it's really looking like it may be a kids film.

That's a prop car and not the real Ecto-1. The original was fully restored in 2009 to coincide with the game / blu ray release. You can view the (awesome) restoration documentary in the Special Features of the blu ray.

Yeah, I knew about the restore. I was meaning the the context of the new movie. I'm guessing Egons kids uncover it? looks like Fin Wolfhard driving in the one pic.

Oh yeah, definitively that's what their going for based off the teaser.

I wonder if the events of the game are canon to this? I sure hope so since it would be a waste of a perfectly fine effort to continue the story when all the cast members were still alive.

I doubt it because a lot of people never played it
