I collect mostly Phicens and tend to dress them in pretty clothes, so not a hardcore collector of 'famous' character figures. Just a few that resonate with me. But am always interested in good advice. I tend to miss out on the characters or costumes I like so I tend to kitbash at times. Happy to be here.

BTW, huge Vincent D'Onofrio obsessed fan and on the lookout for sculpts or figures of him or reasonably priced sculptors.

I've only been collecting since Phicen changed to steel skeletons so don't know the trials and tribulations of plastic ones. Except one Phicen male that seems to have a steel structure except for his ankles which were plastic and of course snapped in a way that was almost impossible to fix.

Yes, but the realism of their bodies still astounds me. First time I saw one I didn't think it was actually a real doll, thought it was a pic. Of a human.

One thing I don't like is how oversized they can be to other normal bodies. Although I did see some female types that are more normal recently.

They’ve been branching out and doing as many types of bodies as they can. They need variations in actual size and skintone too though.

My new favorite is one of the bigger boned girl bodies, S43a. She looks more realistic and is actually more sensual than the smaller girls I believe. Except I still have trouble getting past those huge feet, lol!
