Pffff-hahaha!!! Looks nothing like any movie design, the sculpt is flat out cartoony, the articulation sucks, useless soundbox. Basically a 18" plastic toy with better paint apps and they ask freaking $450... Yeah right, I'm better off buying another X-Plus vinyl figure that will look better and cost 2/3 or even half of that.

Yep I'm just the messenger but I'm not paying for that
Mezco went full greed very quickly and it's disgusting.
But this Godzilla toy... this is just too idiotic and maddening.

Yeah it's nuts, the collecting aspect is getting very saturated and higher in cost for something that was cheaper 10 years ago. Bandai releasing Figuarts Dragonball like nuts, even repaints and Anime Statue being 3x price.

It's why I invested in a 3d printer last year and once I get a good computer with a tablet I'm going full production.

The market will crash eventually. It’s unsustainable. The only things that will linger on might be the stuff you can buy at Target and Walmart, maybe Hot Toys—if they scale back.

Mafex, Mezco, Figuarts, Storm Collectibles… all of it will have to be made to order, with cancellation fees. Stores won’t buy up extra stock of that crap anymore. Statues will almost guaranteed reduce production numbers.

Hah, I'm buying one my self next year for printing small things like figure heads, accessories and diorama parts.
Learing to 3d sculpt in a meantime since most of the stuff I need isn't available for free, hehe.

Def wanna try to sculpt Megumi Odaka. I've been thinking about Saegusa figure in G-Force getup for a long time.

If I could, I'd sell all my 1/6th figures just to buy this awesomeness!
Because shipping it'd cost as much as the statue it self.
I've been buying SH MonsterArts more lately. With 1/700 scale models and hobby model stuff. I plan to make a better display than most 1/6 stuff.
